The circumstances that the little children live in are very significant to the developing of children. Some people say that it is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city, while others hold the opposite opinion. As far as I am concerned, it is extremely to negate children grow up in countryside is better than big city. Completely, I would disagree with this point of view with some qualifications.
The most crucial reason for supporting children grow up in big cities is a better choice is that the education quality in big cities, especially in metropolises is far better than in the countryside. Take china for example, in big cities, there are a lot of good schools that possess a lot of wonderful teachers who are full of teaching experiences. Almost all Chinese parents want to put their children into these schools to let them receive high quality education; equally, the children are like to enjoy excellent education resources to obtain more achievement. In big cities, children will know a huge number of people who own different back grounds and come from different places, not only their classmates. So, they could pick up more skills of communication and socialization than the children who grow up in the countryside.
There is a further more subtle point we must consider. The medicine cares in big cities are usually better than that in the countryside. For instance, in Chinese big cities, the hospitals not only are larger, but also own more skillful doctors and nurses. Moreover these hospitals possess many cutting-edge medical device. The children can be inserted vaccines and take body examines in time. If a child gets serious hurt or fracture, these city hospitals can help them efficiently. Obviously, country-bred children often can not get enough effective medicine care in the remote country. What a pity!
Although I advocate that children should grow up in big city. In some special cases, such as the child’s life is too luxury or he live in the slum with a lot of bad kids who give him negative influences surround there, the children should stay in the country.
