In this competing world, it becomes more challenging that if a country or an enterprise wants to survive, and people pay more and more attention on how to make the country and company prosper, so as to the above issue become much heater than before. The author alleges that it is necessary for any professions leaders to step down after five years. I agree with the author insofar with it is necessary to instill revitalization to any profession, however, considering the difference between professions, it still needs case by case analysis.

To begin with, it is crucial for some professions to change their leader every several years. Look back the history we can easily find that the absolute power result in absolute corruption. When a leader in the key position for a long time, the power concentrates to him, at this time, he usually tends to ignore others' advice. Furthermore, egoism is human nature, if one finds nobody can control or restrain him, corruption probably occurs. As the development of society, maybe some leader would be restricted by his age, energy, vision and courage. So it is necessary to introduce new leadership, the advantage of this new generation can make up the previous’ defect.

Frequent changing leader ship, however, may not bring revitalization to the profession, sometimes even harmful. Take education profession for instance, replacing a old leader with a young one, as we know, education is such an profession that requires experience more than other factors, new leadership may have more knowledge, but what they lack of is management skill, according to the emotion and ability of students to distribute resources and make proper strategies. All these abilities and insight are accumulated with years, before he master the situation of the whole school and student, any decision may be unsuitable which will bring harmful to students eventually.

Usually, it is true that changing leadership is meaningful to a profession, nevertheless, this is not enough. For example, if an enterprise wants to survive and make better than other companies, a lot of factors should be taken into account, company’s polices, marketing strategies, company culture, and the quality of staff, etc. Moreover, I do not think changing leadership every five year is suit for any profession, it depends on the company’s running situation. Bill Gates, the Chief Executor officer of Microsoft system, has been in position far beyond five year, and he familiar with his company very much, if he stepped down just after five years he got the position, I am afraid that there will be today’s Microsoft. In addition, over-emphasis the ability of the leadership and ignoring these other aspects will lead the failure of the company.

Simply put, as every individual is different with each other, every profession also has its own situation, we need case by case consideration. For any profession, it is important to have an overall and comprehensive vision, that is to say, combining the all the factors that attribute to attain success not just confined in the changing leadership.
