Some asset t hat future is unpredictable, so making a plan for it is not much meaningful. From my point of view, I tend to place a high value on the early future plan. I will explain my opinion based on the following reasons.
First of all, there exists a famous saying in china: opportunities are only left to those who have plans and preparations. In other words, opportunities are the ones you should strive for but wait for. Everyone want a bright future and to be a successful person, but there is only a minority of people can achieve their goals. Researching these people, you will find a chief common ground, that is, most of them have definite goals and make detailed plans for their goals even when they are still young. Actually, careful plans and success, in most case, could not be divided. If you want success, you should make an appropriate plan for yourselves when you are young, because it enables you to create more opportunities of success. The success of Warren Buffett is a good example involving it, he his great success partly comes from his early plan. When he was 11, he purchased his first stocks. From then on, there was a particular plan and goals in his mind. So he could create opportunities among those other people thought hopeless.
In addition, while some opportunities, undeniably, depend on luck and we can not create only by ourselves, having a careful plan early could contribute to catching them when they comes, In other words, you will not miss them easily. Foe example, if you have dream to become a reputable singer when you was young and also do your utmost to learn relevant musical knowledge and practice your singing. At this case, when the chance comes, you can seize it better. Reversely, if you simply have the dream without the material plans supporting it, even though you get the opportunity to realize your dream, you can hardly clutch at it. Because you are lack of the basic foundation. By that time, everything is too late, opportunity is fleeting.
Probably, some of people will contend that the plan of the future will be blinded because of the young age, and it also will limit children’s potential in the future. Here, I have to clear out this misunderstand.
No matter whether this plan is blinded or sophisticated, half a loaf is better than no bread. To say the least, if the plan is really blinded, he or she also could get a lot out of it, and make another more precise plan based on the former experience. As to children’s potential, making plans for the goals does not mean that they must follow the plan without any change. One day, if they find they lost the interest to the original things and are attracted by another, they also can shift their goals, at the same time, develop a new plan.
