As we all known, university education plays an essential role in the whole educational system. When it comes to the issue that whether the universities should provide curriculums more challenging, I think that these curriculums are necessary but should be provided as elective course开头很好!
o begin with, we should find out what the duty of university education is. The president of my university once said (and I explained):" The University is a place which provides necessary professional skills and suitable location 你的意思你们学校给提供工作?in society for everyone." Therefore, in this sense, universities should spare no effort on providing different level curriculums to meet every student’s need. Although seated in a same classroom, each student has different performance. Some of them are lazy which directly result in poor performance while others are diligent (diligent) and high-talented, who can not satisfied with common curriculums. Therefore, some challenging curriculums not only cater the ambitions of some high-talented student but also achieve the goal of university education
However, these challenging curriculums should be regard as elective courses for the consideration that those curriculums is really tough and rough to majority of students. We should not ignore the average levels of students while we add some challenge courses in our educational system. Those students with average levels might not understand or accept challenging curriculums easily. If these become compulsory courses, students might have trouble to copy with these so-called challenging curriculums. Even worsely,some of students would get confused even lose confidence (confidence) in their academic way. Therefore, the avenue is that set up elective and compulsive curriculums rationally and carefully due to their abstract好像不太合适吧and different levels.
