1# HYPS2011
Today
I would like to talk about the early days of movie making in the late before the
pioneer
ingof dd film makers were limited by the several misguided conventions of the ero(era).according to one camera are (was)always fixed at view point corresponding to that of spectator to the theater.apposition (a position)now known was(as) the long shot .it was another convention that persation (position)of the camera never changed in the middle of the seeing(a scene). In last
week’s film
we
saw
how
ignore
both these limiting conventions and brought the camera to actor .this shot
was now known as a full long shot was considered the revolutionary at that (the)time . for love of gold ,was the name of the film in
which we
thought (saw)the first use of full shot .

after progressing from the long shot to the full shot .the next logical step was to bring into (in)the camera still closer
in what is now called the,
close -up
as for example in what
the
to
which was made i
n 1903
but not until 1908 in film called after many years was
dramatically(dramatic) the attention(potential) of close -up first exploited
in the
same(scene) from many other years we are about to say
pay special attention to the close-up
any need
worried face is her away husband return
.in 1908 the
close-up shocked everyone by the studio
. had no time to argument
he had other surprise even more to
radical to often (offer) .immediately
he
inserted a picture of
the object of her
thoughts.her husband casting away
on the
desert isle .cutting one scene to another without finishing either of them brought a torrent of criticism on the experimenter(1990-08-

[news:/s/00:00.0-00:08.7] mt who wrote these stories we are going to read ,travel quite alot

[news:/s/00:08.7-00:13.1] often circumstances. financial circumstances forced him to

[news:/s/00:13.1-00:20.6] he was born in florida in 1835 and moved to with his family when he was about four years old.

[news:/s/00:20.6-00:24.3] most people think he was boring
(born) at
but that is (isn't)true .

[news:/s/00:24.3-00:32.0] after his father died when he was about 12 twine worked in
for a while
and then left so he could earn money

[news:/s/00:32.0-00:38.8] he worked for a while as typister (typesetter)on various newspapers and then got a job is rival river pilot recicep

[news:/s/00:38.8-00:46.7] twine loved this job,and many of his books show it but the rival work didn't last however because the outbreak of civil war

[news:/s/00:46.7-00:54.4] twine was in the federate army for just two weeks ,and then he and his whole company went
west to get a way from the war
and the army

[news:/s/00:54.4-01:02.2] in
florida twine prospected
silver and gold
without much luck.but
didn't say he was (did succeed as)a writer

[news:/s/01:02.2-01:08.0] once what (that) happened ,twine travelled around the country giving lectures and earning enough money to go to
Europe

[news:/s/01:08.0-01:13.8] twine didn't travel much the last 10 years of his life . and he did't publish much either somehow

[news:/s/01:13.8-01:17.8] his travel even when forced and inspired his writtings

[news:/s/01:17.8-01:25.7] like many other popular writers, twine derived much of the materias for his writings from the way (wealth ) /
/ and diversity his own personal experiences(1991-05-P2)

[news:/s/00:00.0-00:04.3] we are rapidly nearing the end of the course in the history of classic music

[news:/s/00:04.3-00:07.2] we have covered every several centuries in a very short time

[news:/s/00:07.2-00:12.1] much too short to do the music justice, of the course but then this is survey
course

[news:/s/00:12.1-00:17.3] from now until the end of the term ,
we are talking about and listening to 2 electronic music

[news:/s/00:17.3-00:24.2] you have probably already
probably
know .it was in 1950 the music computers and synthesizers are
first appeared
for a
a university

[news:/s/00:24.2-00:27.8] the first
commerical synthesizers
was sold about this time too

[news:/s/00:27.8-00:34.8] the sophistications
and complexity instruments has now increased to the point that we (they )can produce all the (almost any)kinds of song

[news:/s/00:34.8-00:41.1] some normalist (alarmists)believe
this new instruments will bring an end to
classical music or they already have

[news:/s/00:41.1-00:46.8] you know i didn't share this view .so (though )i agree we are missed (in the midlest) the evolution (revolution) in
instuments design

[news:/s/00:46.8-00:52.7] this is however not the first such evolution in
musical history .and probably not the last one either

[news:/s/00:52.7-00:57.1] we remember we have already
studied
the similar case in the early 19th century .

[news:/s/00:57.1-01:01.7] when the piano replaced the
when instrument
came into

[news:/s/01:01.7-01:09.0] one of the most improtant
reasons of the great popularity of electronic music
is ,their (of course )the relatively cheap price

[news:/s/01:09.0-01:17.2] well just look at it .only about 4oo dallors of
an electronic keyboard
compared to
nearly 3000 dallors for pianoo(piano)

[news:/s/01:17.2-01:28.7] naturaly this has done alot to increase is not the increase sale of electronic instrument .but i
dont think even the most
ardent supporters of
electronic instrument
,except them completely to replace the
acoustic  (198-01-P2)
