题目：ARGUMENT9 - The following appeared in a memorandum from a dean at Omega University.
"Fifteen years ago, Omega University implemented a new procedure that encouraged students to evaluate the teaching effectiveness of all their professors. To enable its graduates to secure better jobs, Omega University should now terminate student evaluation of professors."
Merely based on the insufficient evidence, the author concluded that Omega University should now stop student evaluation of professors. In order to support the commendation, the author incites that the fact that Omega professors have begun to give higher grades to the students in their classes and throughout student grade have risen by thirty percent. In addition, the author indicates that Omega graduates have not been as successful as the graduates from Alpha University, and this issue can be explained by the evidence that potential employers believe the grades at Omega are inflated. Further reflection reveals that the evidence is insufficient to prove the author’s commendation.

Finally, even if the evaluating procedure is the reason for the failure of students in finding jobs, the author’s advice cannot be well supported. Whether students can find a successful job is result of some factors, such as student’s ability, quality of education, market demand and so on. So, if Omega University has the desire to make their students successful in finding jobs, it need to work from these aspects rather than only based on the evaluating procedure.
In sum, the author fails to prove the conclusion that the grades is authentically inflated and this is the reason for the failure of students in finding jobs and the commendation that Omega University should cancel the evaluating procedure.
