The speaker strongly advocates that students should hold skepticism to whatever they study, and during which they should question instead of accepting passively. Generally, I do agree in that skepticism is necessary for learning, and raising questions during learning is a good habit which brings a lot of benefits. However, when it comes to moral lessons, the argument remains to be more consideration.

For one thing, the knowledge of any field of study might suffer from flaws and mistakes. While, to error is human. It's of crucial importance to question the experts or the authority. Even the greatest man in the history of science made mistakes, like Aristotle. It's Galileo who held a habit of questioning, that break down the theory of Aristotle-the falling speed of the object is in proportion to the weight of the objects. And through rational thinking and ground analysis based on the knowledge he acquired, he design and conduct a famous experiment on Tower PISA. We can see the process of violating and break down the authority is quite valuable to Galileo himself and the science history. Due to skepticism, science experiences the progress and achievement in a raw.

Moreover, the purpose of education is not only to inform knowledge, but to cultivate other important abilities. The ability of analytical thinking, creative and vigorous mind, self-teaching, should be acquired through putting forward questions and solve it through independent thinking. This is the core of education. In this sense, to bring certain skepticism is a good habit during learning process. There is a possibility that due to the limit of the ken of teachers, mistakes cannot be avoided. If one, instead of putting forward questions, accepts the knowledge passively, the mistakes wouldn't be figured out and, thus it would be detrimental to the acquisition of knowledge, as well as the quality of education.

In addition, the questions be raised should be based on the detailed rational thinking and hard working. What we value the most is the process of proceeding a question instead of the question itself. During the process, we build a individualized model to consider the issue, and question ourselves, then finally find out the expected answer. The process of vigorous brain activity is of great value in learning.

However, when it comes to moral lessons the students acquire, it is not the same case and needs further consideration. Especially when one violates the laws or other's rights, he should not avoid being taught or punished by others, not to mention to bring a certain skepticism toward whether there's any excuse exists. When facing this situation, if people conduct immoral deeds, the only way to turn the page is to confess the mistakes and try to make it up.

In sum, in knowledge learning, students should bring certain skepticism, and question the authority, for it's the origin purpose of education and it benefit the prosperity of science. When it comes to moral education, if once the person is assured to be wrong, he should not question any more, instead, to confess it and to make it up.

For one thing, theknowledge of any field of study might suffer from flaws and mistakes. While, to error is human(这句啥意思?希望告知哈!). It's of crucial importance to question theexperts or the authority. Even the greatest man in the history ofscience made mistakes, like Aristotle. It's Galileo who held a habit ofquestioning, that break down the theory of Aristotle-the falling speedof the object is in proportion to the weight of the objects. If one, instead of putting forward questions, accepts the knowledge passively, the mistakes wouldn't be figured out and, thus it would be detrimentalto the acquisition of knowledge, as well as the quality of education.(看了这段有一些confused,我想topic sentence应该是第一句吧,前面说 core of education blabla...,后面却在陈述老师的mistake会通过skepticism发现,个人认为有些脱节~)

In addition, the questionsbe raised should be based on the detailed rational thinking and hardworking. What we value the most is the process of proceeding a questioninstead of the question itself. During the process, we build aindividualized model to consider the issue, and question ourselves, then finally find out the expected answer. The process of vigorousbrain activity is of great value in learning.(我觉得这段没必要另起一段来陈述,反而显得云里雾里,跟在上一段融合在一起会更好吧)

However, when it comes tomoral lessons the students acquire, it is not the same case and needsfurther consideration. Especially when one violates the laws or other'srights, he should not avoid being taught or punished by others, not tomention to bring a certain skepticism toward whether there's any excuseexists.
