"The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives."

Text body:
The author asserts that by studying of the history related to our daily life is helpful. Looking through the history, we can understand the value of history and learn from it. But in my point of view, I think those are not relevant to our daily life are also valuable in some extent. So I do not agree the author’s opinion.

In the modern world, the advancement of our science technology will lead our traditional conception and the experience collected before by our ancestors facing a severe warfare. By studying of our history, we are not sure about whether it is useful.
Some of the even maybe not occur in nowadays, so what’s the value of studying it? The answer is absolutely negative. For example, at ancient times, soldiers have to make tremendous arrows before they go the battle field, so the method of making is not important for us today, the reason why we study it is just to learn about the case of history. There is no need to understand of how to making arrows rested on even though we have a conflict with some countries, arrows are no longer popular weapons nowadays, nuclear and biochemistry are taking the leading position of the modernize conflicts. Therefore, studying the history may useless in some aspects.

Admittedly, there are some that are relevant to our daily life. At individual level, we can absorb some inspiration and experience from the history. There is no denying the fact that many famous persons are typical example of studying from the history. For instance, Thomas Edison is a genius in inventing which is familiar with us, who studied from the former experiments, and tried the experiment again and again, by absorbing and concluding the reason of failure of the experiments; he ultimately made a lot of inventions that are all relevant to our daily life.

However, some of histories are not relevant to our routine life, but they may have close relationship with our country policy. At national level, only seek into history can we learn how events come into being. Take the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the world came into a cold war age. Many countries started to prepare powerful weapon as many as possible. The purpose is obvious- to deter other countries. During that time, the relationship among the world was not very good. So learning from the history, we can adjust our policy to make it more appropriate for our country.

While some of the historical events have no relationship with modern society by judging the appearance, but in fact, they do. The events are all the steps of development of human beings, so they obey the objective laws in the natural world.

All in all, as I have mentioned above, the studying of history is still useful even though it is not relevant to our daily life, we cannot deny the function of it. We as the descendants, should study from the history and conclude the precious experience from it. That is all we need to do.

The author asserts that by studying of the history related to our daily life is helpful. Looking through the history, we can understand the value of history and learn from it. But in my point of view, I think those are not relevant to our daily life are also valuable in some extent. So I do not agree the author’s opinion partially.
In the modern world, the advancement of our science technology will lead our traditional conception and the experience collected before by our ancestors facing a severe warfare. By studying of our history, we are not certain about whether it is useful. Some of the even maybe not occur nowadays, so what’s the value of studying it? The answer is absolutely negative. (The answer is useless.) For example, at ancient times, soldiers have to make tremendous (a large quantity of) arrows before they go the battlefield, so the method of making is not important for us today, the reason why we study it is just to learn about the case of history. There is no need (It is unnecessary) to understand of how to making arrows rested on even though we have a conflict with some countries, arrows are no longer popular weapons nowadays, nuclear and biochemistry (weapons) are taking the leading position of the modernized conflicts. Therefore, the studying of history may useless in some aspects.
Admittedly, there are some (points) that are relevant to our daily life. At individual level, we can absorb some inspirations and experiences from the history.

The purpose is obvious--to deter other countries. During that time, the relationship among the world (was quite sensitive).

(We may safely conclude that studying from history has its value which is not limited to those related to our daily life; what’s more, some other things which we can learn from the history should be taken into consideration).
