今早收到了Georgetown的邮件，邮件如下:Greetings from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute (GPPI) Office of Admissions.  I am pleased to inform you that the GPPI Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and will recommend to the Dean of the Georgetown Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) your admission to GPPI for Fall 2012.  Congratulations!

Once the GSAS Admissions Office reviews your application, they will notify you by e-mail that you can view their final decision within your electronic application. You will also receive a more detailed letter of admission from GPPI Admissions within two to four weeks of the GSAS Admissions e-mail.

GPPI Funding Consideration

You have also been selected for GPPI merit-based scholarship
consideration.  One of the factors the committee considers in
determining who receives funding is an applicant's interest in GPPI. Please send to us a short statement (maximum one-page) indicating why you feel Georgetown is the place that will best help you fulfill your goals in the public policy field.

Please send us your statement by e-mail as soon as possible but no later than 5:00pm Wednesday, February 22nd to Emmett Griffin, Director of Admissions, Georgetown Public Policy Institute, griffine@georgetown.edu.

The committee will make scholarship decisions on Friday, February 24th. You will receive an update on your status by Friday, March 2nd.

我12月中旬交的，报了四个学校，G'town是我的首选，也是第一个给Offer的~
去那个学校参观过，各种喜欢。
背景就随便说说吧，我在美国文理学院读本科，GRE：1510，GPA：3.86. 实习美国，国内若干，涉及不同领域，美国电视台，国内法院，国家旅游局 etc.另外美国part-time job和志愿者若干，主要设计帮助homeless和缅甸难民。谢谢大家的祝福，我现在在写奖学金paper。
希望大家offer不断！！
