The department provides limited amount of Graduate Teaching
Assistantships
to students with good records especially PhD candidates. In addition, I
do
have some funds to support a PhD (only) student for a limited amount of
time. We have an excellent robotics laboratory where you can implement
some
of the algorithms you mention as we are looking at similar methods.

hehe,太又希望了，
赶快去找一些havard or berkerly , cornell
CIT等牛人写的review和Journal articles
然后获得一些看法，结合你原先的看法，
写个report回去，
记住，态度是教授比较看中的，不一定你的想法一定是需要切实可行的，
但是你可以写出你的idea,idea的来源，实现方案，
我敢说你最后去的机会非常的大。
