本来想说这次肯定不能按时交作业，结果今天失眠，我就起来把作文写了，明天中午传口语
这次作文写得很郁闷。。中间好几次写不下去想不出要写什么。。后来就硬写硬遍，总算弄出来了

As more and more competition exist in the society, people are willing to get a good job. What does a good job means? A high-paid job with long hours or lower-paying job with shorter hours? As far as I am concerned, the second one is proper to be named a good job.

A high-paid job means high salary and better development, but it does not also bring more happy. Oppositely, you have to spend most of your time in your work, you have to back to company so as to an important meeting when you are sleeping, you may keep vigorous by drinking coffee 10 times a day, you even don't know one of your families is in hospital result in a cold. You can get lots of money but you've no time to enjoy it, you will be a totally working-machine for the high-paid job.

For a lower-paying job, your salary may be lower but you earn time. Time is the most expensive capital in the world, you can really control your time because you needn't working so many hours. How about to have a party or go to a fantasy concert with all your friend after working? And also, the relationship between you and your families will be closer on account of there is more time you can be together. What a colorful life if you can touch the real core of it!

Additionally, you'll live under a regular system of life. The probability of disease will be decreased after doing exercise every morning. A single day of you is full of happy, relax, and content.

To sum up, a good job should make your life more meaningful but just money. I will absolutely choose a lower-paying job with shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends?

With the consideration of the ultimate goal of happiness, some people believe that, in spite of sacrificing much time with family and friends, the most wonderful thing is having a high-paid job. However, I hold the view that the sense of happiness I get from family and friends outweighs the benefit from a high-paid job

First of all, since I am a family-oriented person, every family member is my treasure. As a matter of fact, I do not deny there is more or less a generation gap between my parents and I, and that’s the reason I need more time to accompany them to narrow the gap. Take one of my neighbor couple for instance. Each of them has a well-paid job, and of course, they have heavy work burden.  As they are so busy all day, and they lack of time to communicate with each other, arguments are inevitable. Inharmonious atmosphere in family not only deteriorate the relationship between the couple, but also is a barrier to children’s development.

Also I always cherish friendship. Sometimes, we need time to get together, to share interesting incidents, to talk about one’s own plan of future, and the list will go long. Actually, having a party or a common talk with friends is an effective way to reduce stress.

Moreover, I believe if we have a better relationship with family and friends, then it can positively affect our work efficiency. Image you feel enjoyable with family, then you would definitely keep a high spirit during working hours. After accomplishing job excellently, it is no doubt that your boss will give you an extra reward, may be a pleased journey, which you can share with family members or your friends.

In conclusion, there must be something that money cannot buy. High –paid salary may be attractive for a while, but enjoyable family relationship and friendship offer us a better life in a long term.

Some people prefer a high-paid job with long hours that would give them little time with family and friends , however,others prefer a lower-paying job with shortrt hours that would give you more time with family and friends.In my opinion,I do prefer the latter one .
First of all , the family ,I think , is always the most critical in my life .When I have to choose between a high-paid job and family . I will definitely choose the family . On one hand , the family is indispensible to my life . If one people gets a high-paid job , and the same time he breaks up his family , it’s obvoisely not a wise choice . We can image how sad those people will be if they lose their family after they gain a high-paid job . On the other hand , if one man works so long time every day and has little time with his family . After several months , he must feel that he does not own happiness although he owns a high-paid job . Then he will pay less attention to his job , and make a bad performance on his work . After several weeks , the manager will tell him to be harder . This is a vicious cycle . The finish of the story will be a tragedy : the man will lose both the family and the high-paid job.
Second , friendship is also very important for me . On one hand , I can get help from my friends when I am in trouble while money does not make sometimes . For example , when I badly hurt in the forest and there is no way to get a help from the rescue team . It means that at this time money is no use at all . However , if a friend is stay with you , she or he can give you as much help as possible . On the other hand , if a man only owns a high-paid job but loses most of his friendhip , he will feels lonely at the company . Could you image a man , at the company , works so hard that  he rarely has time to talk with his friends ?
Third , a good relationship is useful for me to perform well on the job . When I perform well on the job , I will learn many things such as the knowledge about how to operate the machine,the tactics how to deal with the job and the personal relationship .

Have you ever been painful with the numerous tasks, and longing for even a short rest for a family dinner? Have you ever been sorry for never attending your son’s birthday party because of your busy work? Have you ever been tired to talk with your husband after overtime work? It is true that you earn a lot of money, if you work longer and harder. However, work is not the entire thing of a person’s life. As for me, I will choose a lower-paying job with shorter hours.
Family and friends is invaluable in my life. They are my source of spirit and support for success. Also, they provide me with warmth and belief, and give me the courage and strength to overcome obstacles. Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some three balls in the air. You name them: work, family, friends, and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other two balls -- family and friends, are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. Thus, it is important for me to spend more time with my family and friends.
Moreover, as communication is the fertile soil for the evergreen tree of love, more time with family and friends will deepen our emotions. A lower-paying job with shorter hours allows me have enough time to communicate with my family and friends. My parents might be gratified if I usually go to visit them; my son might be excited if I prepare a birthday party for him; my husband might be appreciated if I watch basketball game with him; and my friends might be really happy if I attend their weddings.
Admittedly, money is necessary for life, but a balance between earning money and enjoying life is needed. If I can not earn enough money to afford the necessities of life, such as a modest home, enough food, as well as education for our children, perhaps I have to choose the high-paid and longer-time job. Once I gain enough money, I will hunt for a job that will give me more time with family and friends, even if it is lower-paying.

In my opinion it is much more important for me to spend more time with family and friends than to

work. I think nothing could substitute the happiness and health, even high level of salary.

Hence, I would choose a lower-payng job with shorter hours to stay with my family and friends

rather than a high-paid and time consuming job.

To begin with, high-paid job always stand for longer working hours. To some degree, I would agree

that working is important for people to keep themselves stimulated and lively. Without effort,

nobody can survive in this competetive society. Besides, it is human nature that everyone want to

live a rich life. Yet, every coin has two sides. To get high salary of course means to work

longer and harder. Therefore, the time which be spent with family and friends would be shorten.

However, I think the close relationships between I and my family is the top thing for me. The

ultimate goal for us to work hard is to give happiness to our family and friends. If we spend

most of our time on working, then when can we share fun and enjoy our life? Hence, I would choose

a shorter-time job rather than a long-hours job, no matter how high its wage is.

Secondly, long time working often lead us various of pains and illness which cannot be easily

noticed and cured. For example, secretaries working in office often suffer from stomaches, neck

pains, eye-defeciencies, and the like. These kinds of illness cannot be easily cured, and would

be influencial to their entire lives. Even given high level salaries, they cannot buy themselves

healthy bodies. Furthermore, the time saved from low-level-salary works can be spent on exercises

which could also make you healthy. It is true that I cannot realize all my dreams with a lower

level salary, but it is most important for me to keep fit and live happily. Therefore, I would

choose lower-paying job in order to give me more time to keep myself healthy.

Thirdly, even if I can efficiently use my time and handle all the health-related problems, there

is no guarantees that money could represent for happiness. There are plenty of examples around

us. We often see that the divorce rate is comparetively high among the riches. Looking back to

the history, it is clearly showed that wealth always exposes the dark side of human: greedy,

violence, moral collapse, and so on. As the oldsaying shows: a friend in need is a friend indeed.

The wealth could make me suspect whether my friends are attracted by our common interests or by

my wealth. Hence, a high-payed job could not absoltely give me a happy life, let alone for my

family and my friends.

In sum, I would prefer to a lower-paying job with shorter working hours rather than a high level

salary job which would spend longer time. It is more important for me to keep a healthy life and

share fun and enjoy life with my family and friends.

It’s really hard to make a decision when you have to choose one from: a high-paid job with long hours and low-paying job with short hours. How I wonder to have a high-paid job with short hours at the same time,however, few of these vacancies are left for the severe competition nowadays. I prefer the low-paying job with short hours with my growth and own experience.

First of all, lower-praying job with short hours can leave us more time to spend with family and friends. We all know that the money although is still important to every one of us, but it doesn’t mean anything, such as enduring love and devoted friendship and even freedom. The old saying goes, “money makes the mare goes”, it may be correct to some certain degree and in some specific field. If you have longed for a beautiful necklace for a long time, it is indeed the money that helps you to achieve your goal. Whereas, if you admired a girl for a couple of days, can you win her only because you have much more money than others? Without doubt, the answer is no, other components like your interest, your ways of dealings with things and even appearance also must be taken into account.

Provided you were married, than you would meet some other difficulties, like if you want to get a rise, more efforts with long working hours must be paid, you have little time to share the happiness with your family even if today is your 10 years wedding anniversary or your cute kid have asked you to go to Disneyland for a thousand times. Or your old buddy has planed to meet you some where for just a cup of coffee and a small talk. All these have become so hard when we are totally occupied just like a Robert. Chances are small that we could find happiness in this tedious and boring work. In fact we have to face the truth that high salary with long hours is at the cost of sacrificing our valuable time that should have spent with our dearest relatives and friends.

Furthermore, to choose such kind of job, we risks losing our mental and physical health. Under huge pressure even after working for many years in the topworld’s company, common problems such as sleeping problems, disorder of biological clock and other mental diseases appear. Were the job required short hours, much more time could be spent on fishing ,singing, playing chess,exercising and even going out to smell the flowers. But there are some people who still hold that we could make a better living with more money, if they lost their health and almost on the verge of dying, how and where could they use it?

Actually, I am a teacher in a university; I enjoy my leisure time as well as the job teaching children. So if you are already in hot waters, it’s high time for you to think about your choice.

Rationally, people will choose a job with shorter hours which would give them more time with families and friends, even the job is lower-paying. And  when talking about the relationship between career and life, most articles impart us that the time you spend with your family or friends is as important as  ore even more important than those spending on your jobs, after all, your family and friends cannot be replaced by anything else. However, I would choose a  high-paid job though I have to sacrifice my spare time to be with my family and friends.

     High-paid job can provide me with relatively higher quality of life. For instance, I can afford a better apartment equipped with modern facilities,  which will make my life more comfortable. Also, I can travel to my favorite places to experience the life I'm dreaming of. At least I can buy some stuff I long for without any hesitation, such as the latest books from the writer I admire or the fashionable clothes, etc.. What's more, with high-paid job I can  give financial aid to those who are in need. Maybe some friend got a terrible disease and he has to go to the hospital, which will cost a lot of money. I admit that money has its limitation in many aspects of our lives, but in some circumstance, you will lost your hope without money. All these I mentioned  above, the lower-paying job cannot bring to you.

     On the other hand, besides the much less spare time, the high stress of the job is one by-product of the high-paid job. The high concentrated job, usually lasting 10 hours or even longer will make everyone exhausted by the end of the day. The only thing you can do after work is, go home and sleep.  Therefore, the weekends and holidays are more cherished to me then. I usually spend weekends with my family or friends, we do some exercise together or talk leisurely for the whole afternoon. I think this gather together is quite enough for us to keep the close relationship, after all everyone has his or her
own life. Another characteristic of the high-paid job is the challenge accompanied with the job. I like to be challenged, since from that I can really give a further step, and then I will improve my expertise, also for my own sake I will have a progress.

     In a short, I will choose a high-paid job, not only for the high-paid itself, also I will enjoy the other things which the job can bring to me.

Recently, many college students, including me are busy in finding jobs. Usually, those vocations with higher salaries are more likely welcomed by students, although most of them are time-consuming ones. However, I would prefer a job that allows me more spare time; even it is a lower-paying job. I would like to share my spare time with my family members and my friends as well.

In general, family is the essential part in one's life. Parents gave you life, support you to finish the study; your lover offer you a sweet love, and encouragement after your setback; the child, your extend part of your live, brings the happiness and the hope of the life in the future. Friends, on the other hand, are also important people. Family members could warm your heart at home, however, when you are struggling outside, you have to rely on your friends.

A friend of mine, who prefers the time-consuming with higher salaries, explains that this kind of work could earn more money to improve his family members' lives, and he could make more friends as well. I wonder whether he knows what his family members need indeed, and for what he makes many friends. In fact, what his family members need is not money, they want enjoy the leisure time with him together, watching a funny TV program, eating a delicious meal, and having a memorable holiday. And he can not always benefit from their friends; he must do something for his friends as well, for example, share some books, go shopping together, and talk about some interesting topics.
