ARGUMENT50 黄河之水天上来

感觉自己建议的可行性是零 ,
怎么办 :(

--------
50.From a draft textbook manuscript submitted to a publisher.

"As Earth was being formed out of the collision of space rocks, the heat from those collisions and from the increasing gravitational energy of the planet made the entire planet molten, even the surface. Any water present would have evaporated and gone off into space. As the planet approached its current size, however, its gravitation became strong enough to hold gases and water vapor around it as an atmosphere. Because comets are largely ice made up of frozen water and gases, a comet striking Earth then would have vaporized. The resulting water vapor would have been retained in the atmosphere, eventually falling as rain on the cooled and solidified surface of Earth. Therefore, the water in Earth's oceans must have originated from comets."

-----------------
Before carrying out some correlative studies I refer in the later part to excamine alternative explanations, the conclusion that: the oceans' water in Earth is originated from comets which are largely ice made of frozen water and gases, can not been accepted as a scientific one, but a questionable hypothesis. It is not conscientious to write such a explanation in a textbook.

First of all, we should find out the approximately time when the atmosphere of Earth came into being, and then estimate how many comets ever stroked our Earth from then on. If there is not enough ones came after that time, how can we say that our water comes from the comets? Although the extraterrestrial visitors had many frozen water with them, if more of them pay the visit when our Earth was so “hot” still or the atmosphere had not formed yet, they can make little contributions to our water. Therefore, to gain a more impersonal conclusion, we should also know when our Earth became not so "hot", and whether there was water produced by some other way before that time, however which had been evaporated and gone off into the space. If the Earth itself can produce water in some physical or chemical way, it is quite possible that after the Earth become colder, and for the existence of atmosphere those water was preserved little by little, forming our ocean today .

Secondly, to find out the true, the information of the amount of the water in Earth today and molecule quality of water in Earth and comets is also helpful. Through comparison, we can find out whether our water comes from or just comes from the comets, based on the survey of comets which ever come upon our Earth with some water mentioned above and the estimation of totally number of those water, if this number is quite a small one comparatively, then we may say our water “mustn’t” have originated from comets". As for the analysis of the molecule quality, we can compare the intrinsical of two types of water. In some way, like the comparison of the radioactivity, we may get the result that they have so different quality that the conclusion becomes even more questionable.

Admittedly, it is a good idea about the how our water comes from, it seems logical and interesting in some way. However, the hypothesis should get further sustainment from varieties of studies as above showed, only in this way my it be provided to our students as a more scientific one.
