到我了,VO(就是大家说的“平头”?)
Nice to meet you,
VO就问我“Just tell me why you will come back to
China? What is the difference from your last time,
since I have noticed in your form that you were
rejected once last year?"
Since I was rejected a visa last year,
I have been working for CCTV International, CCTV 9
that is, for nearly a year. "
VO: "What do you do for CCTV 9?"
Me: "I work as an editor and director for a feature
program 'Rediscovering China'--have you watched this
program?"
VO:"Yes actually I have."
Me:"And my working experience during the past year
helps me to see a wide variety of possibilities of using
my major in China besides teaching and researching."
VO:"So tell me since your major is comparative literature,
how will it help with your work at CCTV 9.Why not a major
of TV studies?"
Me:"That is a very good question."(这是我当时很自然的一个
ComparativeLiterature is largely an interdisplinary major.."
Don't tell me what a major comparative
literature is.I have a friend whose major is comparative literature.
Just tell me how will it help your work at CCTV 9."
Me:"Yes.Comparative literature is an interdiscplinary major, and it
goes beyond the study of literature, and draws a comparative study
between cultural studies,social studies,fine arts,and history..it will
help me to provide interesting programming."
VO问,"Do you have any letters from CCTV 9?"
Me:"Yes!sure."
This is from one of the CCTV officials","and this is
from a foreign expert of CCTV 9,Laurel."
Do you have a business card?"
"actually I put it with my resume."
Is this for me?"
Sure.My pleasure."
Congratulations!Welcome to US!"
Thank you,sir!Have a nice day!"
Welcome to
watch our programs!" :P
