Sometimes people come into ur life and u come to realize that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach u a lesson, or to help u figure out who u r or who u wanna become.

You never know who these people may be (possibly ur roommate, neighbor, co-worker, long-lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger).

But when u lock eyes with them, u know in an instant that they will affect ur life in some profound way... :)

Have u already met such kinda person so far?

I'm wondering... :rolleyes:

Whistling softly in the dark
Is a better cure than anything
For a confused mind searching for an answer

Whistling loudly enough to drown out that little voice inside your head
Is a better way than any other
To prevent miscommunication of feelings

Whistling quickly for a dog
Is a necessary task
If you wish to be a best friend in return

And whistling a tune all your own
Is the only way
To survive this life in one piece

well, kinda of...... there is one who i met on another forum.
she is now the one who will kick my ass and push me work hard ~
xixi, i totally fall in love with her ^_^

yap ! Soulmate No. 9 !! hehe ... just kidding ... it's the name of a song sung by Tina Arena, the australian Diva.

I do have 3 soulmates, we are good friends since we were 7 years old. And for all these years our friendship still remain. They are all very kind-hearted boys.

and ....

what's more...

one of them turned out to be my one and only love for my life.

So he is my soulmate + Bf :D

it's not necessary that your lover should be your soulmate . For me a man could hardly interpreter these two different caracter at the same time. I believe in it becuz my own experience tells me that you must make a choose - even if this choose is not so cruel and absolute - when you decide to make your soulmate your bf, there are always something that you prefer to hide or not to explain so clearly to your lover, in order to do good to your remationship. I'd rather call my bf a partial soulmate then ... But the best thing to marry your ex-soulmate is , you both understand or easy to understand your thoughts, which can lead to a better comprehension, and you need not to make a hard research on his past. the confidance and the good understanding are indispensable for an ideal family.

Yep, I totally agree with Tea, bf could be ur soulmate, but if he is not, you still can go on and any further..:)
Actually, sometimes a soulmate who is not ur bf is better or more suitable than ur bf...
You can say something deep in ur heart to him but not ur bf, u can express some special feelings to him that u can't describe to ur bf coz ur soulmate may understand u better!
So gals, go ahead,find a soulmate~!!
For me, to me honest, I can't quite understand the exact meaning of the word, maybe my best male friend is just the one who is my soulmate;)

也许吧...

I should reserve my definition of soulmate now, To my way of thinking, hardly exists one person in life who totally understands u, cuz human mind is too complicated for people of all kinds or even ourselves to clue anything deeply inside. Furthermore, no one strips his/her emotions and affections naked to one another, if he/she does, the feelings he/she represents may not be sincere enough at heart, cuz u know, when a person doesn't ensure what himself r really thinking, how should he tell one another?

Even though I'm doubting the existence of so-called soulmate, I still wish I would have one, if there is any...

Soulmate or good friend?

Soulmate? I think it's a kind of good friends rather than have anything further than that. Why coz the relationship between you and your "soulmate" is "mateship", or in other word, friendship. Just because you're congenial with your "soulmate", so you share much more things with she/he than others. Please pay attention that you SHARE things together, that's a most important function that friendship has. I mean you give out something to your soulmate and you got some feedback from her/him, so we can draw a conclusion safely that the "soulmate" is no more than a good friend. I hope all the gters who read this passage can understand this point.

soulmate is far more than simply good friend.Unless yourself have the experience together with a real soulmate you can't well understood it.
good friends will excute the mission what a soulmate would be likely to take sometimes of course,however,that can't be equal to the real soulmate's definition,which can't be seprated or dismantled by the time or space.The intimate feeling exists and only exists in the bottom of one's heart.
