1000回来以后被爸妈教育了一番，认为我不够积极主动。他们心疼地说，站了3、
4个小时，就这么轻易地被打发了。为了出国留学，从考试到申请，我们付出了这
么多也放弃了这么多，他们凭什么以一己的直觉就否定了我们的努力。我们交了钱
去签证，他们就有义务认真地听我们的陈述，了解我们的想法，而不是以如此无理
的借口来拒绝。

2000，此时已经较第一次有经验多了，心态也比较平和了。此时我的同学4000过了
，让人精神为之一振。她说，也许只有当你真的不是那么想去的时候，visa才会悄
然而至。

总之自费最重要的一点——有钱！当然是多多益善啦。这次带上了所有银行存款证
明、房产证、股票证券、车、老爸公司的营业执照......倾其所有了。我写了一张
checklist，列出了所有的项目、金额，最后得出总财产数目。

其次，归国计划，改为到老爸公司做财务主管，家族企业比较有说服力，强调自己
的独生女，父亲非常希望我能回来帮他。本来计划还有一个SL，说先到大公司去长
几年经验，而拿到这个学位才能有一个较高的起点，observe higher level of
operations。从网上找了中美相同职位工资水平的对比表，然后把物价水平的因素
刨去说明中国的工资其实很高。但那天没有被问到why master degree，就省事直
接说回来到父亲公司，因为觉得这个理由最有力度。

最后，万一VO有据的意图，准备说If you still do not believe that I will
come back, I can even pledge the original real estate document here
until I come back one year later! We are not care so much about money,
since the expense is really a tiny part of our family wealth.（老爸教的
，觉得应该蛮有用，不过没用上最好）

入正题，签证过程：

我们这队全过了，酒红色牌子（老爸之前就说拿到红色肯定过）。前一个也是半奖
ms的mm，english teaching，美男十分友好，mm的bank statement是父亲和叔叔同
时资助的都没有纠缠什么。也可能跟专业有关，大家都认为这在美国根本没有什么
opportunities吧。

美男笑着打招呼，并没有一上来就问资金问题。
1、You are going to BC? ms in accounting? Why do you want to study in
US?
The accounting discipline and capital market are mature in US,
compared with those in China. During my one-year working experience I
find that, even in the famous international accounting firm, few
people are familiar with international accounting discipline, such as US
GAAP and IAS.

2、What's the difference between Chinese and US accounting?
They have different reporting requirements...... More than 100 Chinese
state owned companies are going to go public in HK and abroad. There are
also a lot of American enterprises in my hometown Shenzhen. I want to
use my skill to improve the financial communication between China and
the world.

3、看简历，惊讶的说，oh, you are good at hurdles! I also like hurdles!
me: Really? Great!（感觉一点压力都没有，真是nice到没话说了。此时还没有问
到回国计划和资金问题，但就是觉得他会让我过。）

4、What will you do after graduation?
I will come back to my father's company to help him in the financial
department. Would you like to see the licence of his company?

5、Oh, no need. 看I-20，but how can you pay for the expense?
I gave him the checklist of proof of family wealth, and told him that
I had brought all the supporting documents. Gave him the bank statement.
He asked about the name of my father's CO., so showed him the licence
with my father's name as juridical person.

6、然后就开始打电脑了，虽然觉得应该没问题了，但还是不敢大意继续说了说归
国计划，美男也很友好的点头示意听见并没有打断。最后还说，Boston is pretty
cool, not as warm as in Shenzhen. (So sweet!!!) Then I said I would
bring more clothes.

VO:Since what you said make sense to me, go to window 10 to get your
visa. Hope you will come back and make contribution in your future
career.
me:Thanks a lot. Have a nice day.
VO:You too.
一时高兴过头，收着东西就走了。下来才想起原本是想问他要名片的，前面的那个
mm也有此意。可惜美男说他们没有名片，只有签证处的联系方式，sigh，可能签证
处官员属于受保护人员吧，免得泄漏了被骚扰。
