issue 196 Technology creates more problems than it solves, and may threaten or damage the quality of life.

Does technology create more problems than it solves? The speaker claims so, and he even claims that technology may damage the quality of life. But in my point of view, I advocate that technology solves many problems and greatly enhance the quality of life.

I concede that technology indeed creates some problems, and in some extent threaten or damage the quality of life. To illustrate this point clearly, here is an example that is very persuasive. For example, with the raising of the amount of automobiles, traffic jams frequently occur, which is greatly impede the pace of our life. Another example is that people spend undue time in watching TV, which cause more and more people become myopic. Therefore, technology may bring some troubles and diminish the property of life.

However, technology greatly improves the efficiency of life. For example, in 1942, Columbus took six mouths to reach the America from the Europe, but now people can do it within 24 hours. Technological improvements raise the speed of communication, which is more and more important in modern society. Without telephones, people would take lots of days to get a message or letter. But now, with the usage of telephones, people can know things within just several minutes. Therefore, technology is very important to our society. Along with the improvement of technology, the pace of life is in high speed.

Furthermore, technology greatly enhances the quality of life. To illustrate this point clearly, here is an example that is very persuasive. As we know, air conditioning is helpful to our modern life. Whenever the climate is hot or cold, it would make our life comfortable. Another example is the invention of the washing machine, it makes our life more convenient now than the past. Thus, technology enhances the property of life.

In sum, with the improvement of technology, the quality of life is greatly raised. Technology is important to our modern society.

对主题把握不准，题目是说技术带来的问题和解决了的问题哪个是重点，那么你就应该抓住这点，比如网络，它有便捷，同时带来了一些问题，那么这之间的关系呢，你就可以比较了。这个题目应该好写，再多看看，想想。
