6.3 F1全奖去年毕业有惊无险Pass
今天人超多，里面就像劳务市场一样，安检时还被迫解了皮带。F1不多，还是探亲
的和商务的居多。我是9点15的，也建议大家往早约，在里面真是没什么意思，只能
图增紧张。领到的所谓什么card，其实就是约为一张10cm*25cm的彩色纸加上个中文
塑封起来。交材料时，收走了passport, DS forms, I -20, resume, 别的都被丢了
出来。按完指纹正在排队时，看到了在一旁的ttmm正在伤心，就过去问问，于是大
家都很紧张。后面去NYU法学院的ppmm倒是轻松，最后她也过了。正在心里默默祈祷
别被轮到Window 6的glassboy, 就被带到了window 8。我们队有3个商务的，两个探
亲的，还有两个F1的。本以为按指纹时F1被排到最后，面签也应该在后面，谁知道
，F1是整队里最早面签的。准备了好多东西，环顾四周，似乎我是拿的东西最多的
了。似乎很多人关心第二年申请如何解释的问题，这里也顺便说说。
真轮到自己面签时才开始真的紧张，因为没有准备什么背好的东西，只是昨晚大致
规划了一下25问，打算现场临场发挥的，现在回想有些后怕(大家千万别这样，回想
一下，个人感觉纯属是vo想放我过）。听到vo叫我的名字，就急忙走上去了～～最
开始还纠正了vo关于我名字的发音，嘿嘿。
me: Hello
vo: Hello, so you will go to University of Florida to study plant scienc
es? ( vo看我的i20)
me: yeah, the University of Florida provides me full financial aid, and
I'll pursue my PhD degree there.
vo: Do u have the offer letter?
me: sure, please wait, let me see ( 翻ing 我的大口袋）, well~~yeah, here
~~Here's my offer letter.
vo: Oh~~ it is sent by email?
me: yeah~~ it's by email. By the way, I'll got other materials mailed fr
om the university, such as the welcome letter, the immunology form, etc.
Also, you could check my information from the i20 form, the SEVIS syste
m as well as my offer letter.
vo: Ok~~~are you a student?
me: yeah~~oh~~errrr~~no(实在是事先没准备啊，大家千万别这样). I got my Be
chelor of Science in the University of Science and Technology of China l
ast July, and I joined in a laboratory in Beijing since then. (再翻ing袋
子），here is the certificates of my gradduation as well as my Bachelor
degree, also my transcript. (递了进去）
vo: (翻了一下，根本没打开封着的成绩单，也没打开已经在封口处盖章的封好的的
学位证明,翻了大概5秒钟） Ok~~(被偶打断了,xixi）
me:well， I've also have the supporting letter of my current advisor as
well as his name card, and the certification.
(下面就险象环生了，大家一定要提前准备啊，别像我临场发挥!）
vo: ok~~~（vo接了过来，翻了几下，没认真看）What will you do when you com
e back to China?
me: Basically three things, China is my motherland~~~
（vo在窗户里一耸肩，手一摊，打断了我）
vo: no~~no~~ please do not speak what you have recited!
（我就一下子放松下来了，本来我就没背嘛,和vo硬拼了）
me: hehe
vo: What did I ask you then?（vo变得严肃了）
me: You asked me what I plan to do when I come back to China.（vo这才把手
收了回来）I plan to come back to China, and start my own research career
in the institute in China.
vo: Why did you choose University of Florida?
me: Well~~~tt's a pretty long story~~~As you could see from my resume, y
eah~~right in the section of research experiences. I have started my res
earch experience since my second year in the University directly till no
w. I have always dreamed of being a successful scientist. I believe a su
ccessful scientist is firstly a successful researcher. Whenever I tried
to keep up with the proceedings of the fields I am interested in, I coul
d always find that the faculty of the plant sciences in the University o
f Florida had done a great research achievements. So last year I wrote e
mails to the professors whom I am greatly interested in, they welcome me
, I sent my application, and they gave me full financial aid.
（一口气说完，然后镇定得看着vo)
其实，说到三分之二的时候，vo就开始打电脑了，我知道我过了。
vo: No Problem. You could get you visa~~~but sorry our computer is down,
come at 3 next Monday to get you visa. （递了张小黄纸条出来）
me: Thank you. Next Monday, 3 o'clock pm, here, visa, right?
vo: you are correct. (vo开始准备叫下一个人了）
me: Sir~~~~Would you please kindly give me the book Study in America?
vo:(贼茫然） What?
me: I heard you have got a book with the title Study in America, right?
vo: Sorry, we haven't such a book.
me: Oh~~~~I see, have a nice weekend.
感觉整体过程挺好玩的，应该是我的research experiences和口语帮了很大忙。不
过，从vo没怎么仔细看我的材料，估计最主要的是vo要放水。另外，有全奖的xdj
m，不管vo第一个问题问你什么，一定要不自觉的把你有全奖的信息透露出来啊。

另外，大家绝不要对vo的问题说no, ttmm就被vo的问题 Have you contacted any
Chinese students there 给坑了。
准备了很多东西都没用上，however, better preparation makes everything! 估
计vo看我把那么大的一个袋子放在台子上，还有花花绿绿的标签给弄晕了。
