今天收到研院的email给的conditional offer of admission，生物专业。
但是无奈该校不免学费，看着这个ad，心情沉重。外加对英国高校的奖学金申请了解甚少，
希望英国版的高人提供一点建议。例如还有什么途径申请什么其他的奖学金，或者国家公派是否会给这种留学英国不给免学费的提供机会呢？

master or PhD?
If PhD,
no ORS from this year and you can try to find some funding from your boss.
About 国家公派, you have to make sure this univ. is in the list of the 免学费:handshake

This is a Ph.D. admission. According to my knowledge, my boss-to-be has a lot of projects and of course fundings, but he did not refer about supporting my three-year study from these resources. So I am a little confused. Is it appropriate to ask him? Maybe it's okay in the US, but I am not quite familiar with the 'rule' in UK. Waiting for your helpful answer, buaaac~~ Thanks a lot.

Sure you should make sure your funding first.
In my opinion, it isnot worth to going there to study as a PhD if there is no funding.
As you said before, your Boss should be a 'rich' one, so talk about money with him/her.
also if you always have connection with him/her before your application, like we did to US bosses(i mean you chose him/her, not the department/Faculty did it for you), that will be very fine to talk about money.
