Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:
# t& M( U7 U, v1 o1 t3 IIt is more important for the government to spend money on art museums and concert halls than on recreational facilities such as swimming pools and playgrounds.
There is a general discussion on the issue of whether government should build more art museums and concert halls than entertainment facilities. The majority would stand the side of government should set more art facilities, others perhaps hold the different idea like government ought to found many sport stadiums. Suppose you are an officer, which do you prefer? As far as I am concerned, I have a preference for former over latter. My arguments for this point are listed as follow.
Undeniable, government building recreational installation is essential for citizen to do exercise. That means people playing sports and doing exercises better their health, which can release the pressure of their daily life, moreover.
Unfortunately, however, government set many art-learning facilities which bring some benefits for native, for instance, it enhances people’s knowledge of art; it provides a fabulous condition for people to study the art; and it enables people to completely realize the history.
The first reason support my view is that, taking a visit to art museum and concert hall that is government founded could increase people’s dates of art. It refers to that people broad their horizon of art in museum and concert hall. The point is best illustrated with the example of I have travelled to the Shanghai World Exposition, kind of the biggest museum in China, which exhibits a number of foreign arts to visitors. Through the sightseeing, I understand the Pairs romantic, American sprite and Chinese bonzer art. Therefore, it is so important that government build art facilities for citizen.
In the second place, art museum and concert hall give an enthusiastic atmosphere for people to study the art information. It reflects that people ease to learn the knowledge of art in the professional place—museum and hall. For example, in the SYS music museum displays many instruments of the classical period. If people appreciate the instrument without museum, they never figure out the feeling of the classical music instrument. With a really music player, museum supply a nice condition for people to learn the music.
What is more, the art museum and the concert hall satisfy the need of people mental. The notion behind this is quite sample, the art facilities is not only improving people knowledge but also fulfilling people’s mental.
In conclusion, government found art museum and concert hall has more valuable merits as mental health and benefit. I therefore reinforce my stand point that art installation is more essential than entertainment facilities.
