Do you agree with the following statement? In order to be more financially responsible when we are adults, we should learn how to manage money at a young age.( K6 C2 [4 X# a$ q4 v* t

独立作文：
Money is important in modern life; everyone needs it to buy products and pay bills. Adults earn money though work and spend it in many uses; however, kids sometimes also possess money. Shall their parents take care of their money or should they learn to manage it? I think the latter will be better.
In my point of view, handling money is a basic skill that modern people should master. As a result, kids should practice managing money at their young in order to learn that skill early. Today many parents giving their children pocket money, and some of the wealthy ones are virtually too generous. If kids don't have a good habit of how to use money, he/she may buy junk food and too many toys. The junk food does harm to kids' health and too many toys cause a waste of money and time. There will be even worse effects when kids grow up. They will find themselves always buying things they don't need and the wages cannot cover their basic needs so they have to borrow money. Nevertheless, the other month goes the same and he/she can never pay off the debt. In order to be more financially responsible, children should build a good habit about how to manage money as soon as possible.
What’s more, there are more and more kids today earning money at a young age instead of having pocket money from their parents. Some children gain money by doing part-time jobs such as sending letters or selling newspapers, others might be a young star and act in many movies, for an example, the little actors and actress in the Harry Potter series. Just like adults, the kids earn money through hard work, and consequently they don't want to have others to have that money. As their parents, in order to respect their product of labor, they can give good advice about how to use that money, but should not just take away the money and simply telling the children hey will spend the money on future needs. If the kids don't manage the money themselves, he/she will feel ignored. Also, they will have little financially responsibility, since they never have the chance to own their money.
To sum it up, I think managing money at a young age is important. Not only dose it build a good habit and strong responsibility towards money, but also is a kind of respect to children's labor product. It is especially important to Chinese children who are always over-protected by their parents. Chinese parents should let their kids do more on themselves, and learning to manage money is a good step to take from now.
