近來港版的筒子們等VISA LABEL等的比較焦躁，各校筒子都在討論VISA的申請狀態。

特發一個各校學生VISA申請和收到情況的討論帖，大家淡定地一起等吧^_^

首先說明一下，大家寄材料記得早，到六月份左右才收到VISA LABEL也是個很正常的：

城大研院的郵件（各學校適用）：

Usually, it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the Immigration Department of Hong Kong to process the application. Considering that student orientation and the new semester will only begin in late August, it is too early to submit your visa application to the Immigration Department at the moment because you will be required to enter HK within 3 months from the date that the visa is issued

拿到 VISA LABEL後三個月內必須入境啊~~不能太早寄給你！

今天刚收到的HKU的邮件，本来是问地址可不可以用中文写，CEDARS在回复我几小时后又发了一封邮件说我的签证已经办下来了。我不知道是港大主动发邮件还是我那封邮件的结果。大家可以发邮件问一下。

邮件如下：
Dear ***,

I am delighted to inform you that the HK Immigration Department has
now approved your student visa application and this office has already
picked up the student visa sticker for you.

We however are unable to deliver the student visa sticker to you because
our record shows that you still have to satisfy certain admission criteria
before the Graduate School can confirm your admission status.

Therefore,  may I ask you to inform us once you have received a copy
of your CONFIRMED letter of admission from Graduate School ?  Once you
have updated this office on your confirmed admission status, we will
then proceed to deliver the student visa sticker to you.

Thank you very much.

邮件内容
Dear students,

Your visa permit is approved now. Please kindly confirm your name, postal address(Chinese address is required with xx省xx市xx區/縣), postal code and telephone number. I will send the permit to you this week after receiving your confirmation and receive the visa permit from Immigration Department.

CUHK將材料遞交HK入境處之後，研究生院會發郵件告訴你你的學生VISA申請編號，可以在HK入境處的網站上查詢申請狀態：

有的筒子已經查到VISA獲批啦~~恭喜！

根據CUHK研究生院的官方說法：
If you have admission condition other than presenting a valid visa, please note that the Immigration Department will only issue visa to students who have already fulfilled their academic conditions.  In order not to delay your visa application, please send us a copy of the required proof/documents by fax (852-26035779) or by e-mail (gso-1@cuhk.edu.hk) together with the back page of your Admission Notification by 30 June 2010 the latest.

也就是你把學位證、畢業證寄到研院之後，研究生院才會把label寄給你啦。

請大家耐心等待^_^

看到有同学说打电话到中大研究院问有关con offer签证的事情，小米说是不一定要交了学位证之类的东西才把签证寄给你，而是移民局发给他们，他们就会寄给你了，即使现在没有提交学位证什么的。然后我刚刚打电话去确认了一下，小米确实是这样说的，如果在7月31之前拿到了语言成绩，学位证什么七七八八的东西，就发给他们看看情况（温柔的小米就是这样说的，不知道看什么情况），如果没有也没关系，他们还是会把label寄给你让你去办签注，然后开学时交成绩和学位证什么的。所以大家不用担心啦，慢慢等吧，没考过英语的童鞋还有时间，加油加油:loveliness:

今天忍不住发邮件催问label的事，结果刚发了邮件就接到系里老师电话说有香港的快递，一看，不正是期待已久的label嘛。所以之前的疑问解决：应届生不寄毕业证和成绩单也可以拿到中大寄过来的label；label上签发日期是6月1日，附带材料上说明3个月内必须入港（所以才会拖到现在寄给我们）。
刚刚去学校所在派出所办了户籍证明，明天去办通行证和护照啦~

cuhk的phd项目

4月初寄的visa申请材料，4月27日收到的acknowledgement letter，今天终于收到了ets寄来的visa label。看来大致需要两个月时间。

我是应届，还没拿到毕业证，所以看来cuhk的condition offer也是会把visa label寄过来的。

另外，由于端午节，下周1，2，3出入境会放假，但是明后天周6，周日会正常上班，所有可以明天去办逗留签注了。

四月初寄出的VISA申請材料，供筒子們參考^_^

7月8日更新~~

LZ~5月中旬將材料寄到系裡，杳無音訊，大概幾天之後發了2、3封郵件過去催，沒反應，大概又兩三天以後，打電話到系裡問，系裡終於有反映說材料已經收到。
之後又是杳無音訊啊~~

一直也沒有收到CUHK研究生院的已經將材料送往HK入境處的通知郵件。。。。。囧

然後六月下旬的時候有點急鳥，又打電話問研究生院

工作人員說，入境處正在處理中，不方便找到檔案編號囧

然後前兩天我又發郵件問，研究生院終於說~~your visa label is ready for collection。。。。。

中間的步驟全省了。。。囧

等待label的降臨ing~~~

存疑：由于我是 conditonal offer (要硕士学位)，我不知道在我硕士学位获得前 VISA Application 会不会开始处理？这个问题也在上面邮件中问了，等待回复。有其他筒子同样情况知道的么？

2010-5-3 收到邮件回复了，两个问题都有回答，答案都是肯定的，邮件如下：
Please note that you holding the conditional offer, you can still apply
your entry permit.

The Student Visa Application Status is "Processing by UST / Immigration".
Yes, we received your visa document and sent to the Hong Kong Immigration
Department to process.

As you may already be aware, the application process will take about 6-8
weeks.

I trust that you have already taken note of your latest status from the
online visa application system. Please continue to make use of our online
system for the most up-to-date status of your visa application. If any
documents are missing, we'll let you know as soon as possible.

今早(6月24日)收到fedex notification
说visa / entry permit package大概明天送到

本人申请hkust phd
5月2号还是3号寄出的快递材料
之后没有收到任何通知 -_-||
(今天通知我的也是fedex而不是学校)
不过我淡定也一直没有通过任何形式询问或者查询
看来visa这事儿完全不必担心…

他與于2月20號左右在香港直接快遞到理工大學,
學校立馬回復收到資料的信息，
並説明在5月初學校統一將簽證
送達香港入境処
6月5日下午收到信息說，visa label  已于6月4號郵出~
Dear student
We are pleased to inform you that your visa application is successful!
We have already sent you the visa label issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department by courier on 4 Jun 2010.
這應該是理工第一批寄出的VISA吧(*^__^*)

Julia服部注：我跟nako( StillNako) 筒子確認過，他不是應屆生，估計應屆的筒子們還是要等到提交了畢業證和學位證~~學校才會統一寄出，大家耐心等，加油↖(^ω^)↗

Dear student,
Your visa application has already been sent to the HKSAR Immigration Department for processing.
To avoid a waste of time in handling enquiries and slowing down the Immigration Department’s processing work, visa applicants (students) are suggested not to make enquiries to the Department. According to the authority, the normal processing time for an application for student entry visa/permit may take up to 6 weeks.
This 6-week processing time, however, is just a nominal schedule and the actual duration sometimes takes less than 6 weeks. Our experience last year showed that most of the students were able to arrive in Hong Kong before the semester began.
We shall keep you abreast when there is any progress update. In the meantime, feel free to contact us again should you have any queries.

教院visa情况（四月提交）
Dear XXX, Thanks for your email.
According to our records, we have sent your visa application documents to the immigration department in May. It normally takes around 4-6 weeks to process your student visa. Once the visa is ready, we will send it to your together with a letter of registration and student hostel application form.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
