和jjeagel一起，同一个vo，
花絮：
这几天网上带条形码的DS156表不能正常显示，就估摸着填了，结果生成的DS156有些选

项没有内容，不管，打印出来，手填补上，签证的时候能用。
进门安检，报警，从口袋摸出一个硬币，再过，再报警。傻了，发现裤子后袋上有铁钮

扣，（担心保安让我脱裤）还好后来发现是鞋带孔上有铁，最后脱了鞋过，悲惨！。。

所以当心鞋上有铁也会报警。。
因为是星期一，6。14数字也不是很好，呵呵，F1的好像比较少，不过探亲的蛮多。
6号闪出我的号码，赶紧过去一看，是hfmm。
V：hfmm, M: me
V：从窗口递出签证收据，how r u，
M：fine，how r u，
V：fine，What universities do u apply？
M：（听错了，以为问我去什么大学）I will pursue my phd in （被打断）
V：（一脸严肃）具体她怎么说没有听清楚，大概说她不是问这个问题，你不要背，我们

是在进行talk。What universities（重音） do u apply？
M：一阵紧张，停顿了一会，I have applied six universties, there r, Scrippts I

nstitute,Yale university .....
V: who give u offer?
M: UVa
V: .....没有听清，好像是在问其它学校不是不都say no to u，
M：赶紧说，我收到这个offer在一月份，然后就withdraw了some other schools。
V：If UVa don‘t give u scholarship, u will not study there?
M: Yes.
V：看DS表，what’s ur major now
M: My major is biophysics my postgraduate research is cancer therapy.
V: 是研究生?
M: Yes, I have passed master dissertation defence and will get my degree in

july.
V: what major will be in uva.
M: Cell and developmental biology.
V: do u have resume?
M: yes, 赶紧找出来递进去，here u r。
V：看resume，Do u have the deatails of ur reserach? any publication?
M: Yes, i have two publications, here is one of  abstracts, the other one ha

ve been accepted by XXX,but still not be published.do u want to see my maste

r thesis? 赶紧递论文和一篇abstract。
V：翻论文，has abstract?
M：yes,（她也翻到了, 不过她没有仔细看）
V：what will u do with ur phd degree?
M:When I get my degree i will be bact to china to find a position in CAS and

establish my own lab to do interesting research.
  the other important reason i will back is because of my mother..(被打断）。

V：笑着指我后面，turn around and see that people,
M: 我头转了一下，I have special reason（打断）jfmm还坚持让我一定往后看，唉只

能照做。
V：see so many old persons, they will go to usa to see their 儿子（居然用中文

），儿子（还强调一遍），have the F—1 visa。。。
M：I know that，but i have the special reason。。。。。（个人原因）。
V：Do u have advisor,
M: yes, do u want to see his webpage?
V: 表示要的，
M：找，居然第一遍没有找到，再找，（hfmm很和蔼对说不要急），找到，递进去。
V：她看的时候，我就简要的介绍了一下导师的研究方向。
V：手抓着论文的abstract，说，do u mind i pull this page down.
M: 居然要撕我的论文摘要，我明白要被check了，你撕吧，我有很多copy呢。
V：I can not give u visa right now，要check 我，
M: How long,
V: two month.
M: （吃惊状）I will miss the entrance ....
V: u will not...用笔指着DS表上的email问，do u often check this email.
M: Yes, but I am not sure it will always work, can u call my mobile.
V: OK ,first email, then mobile.
M: Thank u , have a nice day.
总体形式还可以，被check的稍微多了些，
hfmm一开始有点严肃，特别是刚开始时她觉得我在背，很反感。所以尽量不要背，说的

慢些，不流利关系也不大，总体hfmm还是很和蔼，后来经常笑，可惜，没有仔细的看。
