我的观点基本上是赞同的，不知道这么写是否合适~~

TOPIC: ISSUE152 - "The onlyresponsibility of corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, isto make as much money as possible for their companies."

As benefit-oriented organization, the goalof the corporation is accumulating profits. As the executive of thecorporation, although he can take some social responsibilities on morality,higher than the law level; it is his only inevitable accountability to gainprofits for the executive in the bound of laws.

Some one may argue that the executiveswould reach the purpose of acquiring more profits at the cost of the benefit ofthe society, such as the environment, the limited unrenewable resources, andthe health of the consumers. However, we should be are of the precondition ofthe executives' acquiring profits-- under the permission of the laws.Meanwhile, it is not the obligation of the corporation executives but the lawsto maintain the benefits of the society. All the executive need to do is tocomply with the established laws. The responsibility of the corporationexecutives, that making much money, is on the basis of the mature regulationsof the laws. In this case, as long as staying with the law, the corporationexecutive would not harm the society in the process of making profits. For instance,the government should establish relevant laws to regulate detailed eachpollution index to control the pollution caused by manufacturing of thefactories. Similarly, through regulation, the government should control theexploration amount of the limited resources. Meanwhile, with high profits, the corporation candonate the society on the series of problems all people suffered.

Apart from that, some one would assert thatapart from exploiting profit, corporation executives should perfect the companymanagement construction and maintain the welfare with the faculty. However, wecannot consider these responsibilities mentioned above independent from thegoal of high profits. The efforts in management perfection and faculty welfareserve to the responsibility of making much money. They are two effectiveapproaches to the high profits for the corporation executives. For example, inthe process of management perfection, by reducing the unwanted proportionswould save considerable costs in management; constructing inquiry system wouldkeep the managers from corruptions, and finally improve the efficiencydrastically. On the other hand, through maintaining the faculty welfare, thecompany would establish the positive figure among the faculty and all the society.The stability and assurance in their life would inspire the high quality oftheir work performance. Take the Google company for example, by supporting thecomfortable and free working environment and the high income, the creativity ofthe faculty is encouraged. Apart from that, many elites are attracted tocontribute to the company. On balance, management construction and welfare maintenance,inevitable part of the responsibility of making money, are the preconditions ofacquiring profits.

Admittedly, there are someresponsibilities, which is out of the reach of the laws. The company can takethem on the morality level. Take the issue of the workers downsized by thecorporation. The executives should share the social responsibility to arrangesome positions for the workers. With respect of education, the corporation canfund the poor children to school, and award the outstanding ones. All theexecutive do in these aspects are out of their morality, which are not theirinevitable part of the work as an executive.

In all, making much money is the inevitableresponsibility of a corporation executive. It is unquestionable for theexecutives to implement his accountability in the bound of laws. Also, he canchoose to take the moral responsibility that out of the reach of laws to polishthe figure of the whole company.
