2. "Competition is ultimately more beneficial than detrimental to society." 归根结底,竞争对于社会是利多弊少。 As to economy it seems valuable in advancing its development. As to politics it looks like a belligerence without tears and bloods, in which may benefit the general public. As to academic research it is always considered as the driven force of all researchers. Nonetheless, during the competition process, scandals, money and sex bribes, academic data-abuse, can be seen throughout the newspaper and other medias here and there, since the limitless competition between the competitors and their opponents. Thus, competition, whether it plays a beneficial role or a detrimental one to the advancement of the society, remains an ambiguous question. During the past century, it has been wittnessed that illegal competitions increased dramatically due to the over-emphasize on the individual success. Although President Nixon, abuse his power to control his opponents, failed. In the year 2005, the national hero and the father of colone in Kerea, who had published most of his "discoveries" on the world-famous publication SCIENCE and NATURE, received widely respect for his "contribution" in colone technich until the truth of the whole story was exposed to the public. Many people, myself included, in some extent, began to adore those who are rich, powerful without considering about how they gain their "success". Bussinessmen, who are driving Benz, BMW, are always respected for their fortune. Governors, who are dressing in world famous brand suits, are awl-inspired. Nobody knows or cares how they can make money in one night, how they become powerful without working hard. The just notion might derived from the similar thoughts that:"Black or white, good cat catch the rat." So many people misunderstood these words and introduced it into nearly every realm of our society as that once they can be rich and powerful, the deeds, no matter how misleading, they should be forgived. Adimittedly, it is competition that forces us to be stronger and perform better in order to gain what we want, act as the motor of a society, in which the stronger one is, the more he or she can gain. Everyone lived in New York speeds their pace along the path to work, eat and sleep without taking a breath since there is no best while your comrades are speeding up. Only in the way of realizing this principle can they survive in the modern competitive society. Without recognization to behave brave and facing straightforward to the reality, one will never stand up as a successful man.
