In the statement, the author asserts that socialized today determines the destiny of society and we have not yet learned how to raise children. I agree with the author’s attitude toward the importance of socialization in children’s education, however I cannot admit the factor as the decisive one as well as the conclusion the author makes on the current education methods.

To begin with, I accept the point of view that modern education system should include the part of socialization as the trend of the globalization plays more and more important role in nowadays development. Socialization is to refer to the process of learning the societies’ culture and how to live within it. For the children who will face with the society one day, our education system should include the part of socialization in order to provide them the enough skills and habits necessary for acting and participating within the society? For example, besides the normal education in the school, we should also offer them the society-oriented education environment which is not possessed by the schools. We can organize children to help the person who need help as volunteers as forester them the awareness of helping each other. Meanwhile, we should also teach them necessary knowledge about the culture of the society. These can help them understand the custom and the tradition occur in the society. Socialization is not the subject but also an important living method that should possessed by the children.

While I concede the important fact of the socialization, I cannot accept it as the decisive one. Clearly, our education system contents many important and crucial aspects on teaching children. To be a person that good to the society, the children should also pay attention to the knowledge study. The future of our society cannot only determined by the socialization of the children. The one with the strong ability is the one the society needs. Well socialization dose not mean the one has abound knowledge and enough skills to better construct the society, to the extreme situation the well socialization some time can confuse the public. Hitler, who notorious as leading to the outbreak of the Second World War, is the villain in the situation as an example. Although he maintained the sociality skill well, he did not have a high moral and give the pain to the Germany as well as all over the world. So the future of the society cannot only determined by the one who has well socialization.

Further more, I still doubt on the author’s claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help about bring about a better society. The fast development of nowadays society proves that the education method existents can help us to better our society. Nowadays people can better understand each other and well corporation. We pay more attention to the education of next generation not only on the intellectual aspect but also on the moral and ethics. To the society, many individuals can better adapt the changing environment. These progresses can describe as the success of the current education.

To sum up, faced with nowadays development society, we should pay attention to the socialization in children’s education. Yet, we should also forest children with abound knowledge and enough skills which can also help them to better our society.
