101. "Governments should provide funding for artists so that the arts can flourish and be available to all people."

When we listen to a piece of soft music, we will feel closed to the nature. When we look at a colorful paintings, we may feel energetic. When we appreciate the opera, we could be deeply moved by the lively action on the stage. Although art has been adding happiness to our life, it cost so much that sometimes the artists have to stop creating to make money. And if all the artists stop to take a ordinary job, there will be no art in our life at all. As a result, the governments should provide funding for the artists for our life will become pale without art.

Many of the artists need to be sponsored for they are really busy creating. Because to complete the art work really takes time and money. Mozart, one of the most influential musician in the world, would be an apt example to illustrate this point. Mozart was fed up in a needy family, and his father who treated him hard, always drunk a lot. Thanks to the strict training and the talent of himself, Mozart was able to write beautiful music when he was only six years' old. Although Mozart showed excellent talent when he was a little boy, he lead a tough life later in his life and die at a young age. Life was so hard that he once had to use one of his favorite work to exchange for several potatoes. However, this great musician created more than one hundred symphonies all his life. Supposing he had got enough money from the governments, he may lead a long life and create a huge amount of music, the symphony, operas and soft music. So the governments should provide funding for the artists to make sure they are able to create art without the trouble of money.

It would be a wise investment for the governments to sponsor to the artists. Because the art always have magic powers to make people peaceful and tranquil. For example, it is the music that brings us together when we are in times of uncertainty. In the dark days following the terrorist attacks on 9/11, when the only emotion many Americans felt was panic, it was music that members of our congress turned to when laws, speeches, and political stances, were inadequate to express our feelings, raise our sense of hope, or calm our hearts. On the steps of the Capitol Building in Washington that day, elected officials came together, regardless of party affiliation, to reassure the country with a song. Since the art could help us get rid of the negative motions, it would be worthy for the governments to invest on art.

After a careful and thorough thinking, we may discover that the mankind's civilization never progress without art. The originality always take place with art and even science couldn't exist without art. Thus, we can conclude that even art cost a lot, it's valuable for governments to provide funding for the artists.
