TOPIC: ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

Is it that true that education will be effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student?in my opinion , i disagree that from following reasons .

Education is a important foundation for a country . without offering education ,a country is unable to make great achievements and developments . we can not deny that education plays a vital part on state affairs and most countries devote much money and energy to education in the world . education can change one's life and even improve the quality of nation .so we should be more careful and think twice on the education problem .

interests are the best teacher of children .an education system that can take account the specific needs and interests of each student will help the students to develop their distinct potential and talent .however , even though the education may more effective by meeting the specific needs and interests of each students , this education system can not be carried out without enough education resource according to the individual requirement .education faces the all students in the country .different students could provke various requirements .it is impossible to arrange so many teachers who major in all kinds of subject and offer so many instruments for students’ studying .

although the education is enough to meet the every student's needs and interests ,there will be many students who have not a complete knowledge system as a result of emphasis on interests too much .some students may pay attention to literary and spend little time on the math ,which could result in a phenomenon that students will be lack
of basic math knowledge seriously .they even cannot seize the simple math which is a necessity in daily life .the purpose of the formal education is to foster people who have abilities in every aspect so that they can make contribution on society .

the content which be mentioned above does not mean that we can ignore the students' interests and needs. education should help every student's interests develop in some degree by taking some measures. for example ,school could offer some classes which students can choose which they are interest in to attend freely ,such as drawing and dancing . meanwhile , students can do something they like in the part time .parents who are also regarded as the teachers of their children should try to offer the opportunities and create conditions to make their children have enough space to develop their interests . They may hire a swimming trainer or send their children to the football club if their children show great interest on sports.

in conclusion , it is impossible for us to design education to consider all students’ needs and interests . with the rapid development of society, we still continue to improve our education methods to make students receive better education .
