Issue 54
  What is history? And what is the function of studying history? In response to this issue, we need to analyses the proposition from a dialectic perspective. The author's conclusion of studying history cannot help us to make important judgement presently , runs counter to fact. However, I think though historical analysis is a difficult one, we can benefit a lot from that process. Just as Alphonse de Lamartine mentioned in the 19th century,"History teaches us everything, including the future".
First and foremost, history can help us understand people and
society,and how the society we live in came to be. Aristotle put out in 4th century BCE “If you would understand anything, observe its beginning and its development". History offers the  extensive evidential base for the contemplation and analysis of how societies function, and people need to have some sense of how societies function simply to run their own lives. What's more, understanding past success and failures and study of great figures can inspire us. Let's see the journey of life over the past sixty years of the fount of People's Republic of China. China is now facing a great change and a rapid development, and is becoming a pillar of world's economy. To have a better understanding of this breakthrough, history can hence be our teacher. All the attempts, success, failures, and experiences help us to choose a way best suitable for China, and promote the reason of current situations happened in China. In a word, relevant antecedents can help us fully appreciate our present state.
  Secondly, through history, we can grasp how things change, and comprehend the factors that cause change, thus make preparation for the future. History is not a way to "foresee" the future, but as an aid in planing for the future and avoid mistakes. Changing is the nature of everything, what we can do is to seize the trend of changing rules, and made the proper way for the development . Karl Marx's whole life investigation toward human socio-economy system, the regular of human development by vast history records and forunner's philosophy. His theories provide the patterns of social development, and make a clear way for our future. As Thomas Hobbes concluded in the 17th century, "For the principal and proper work of history being to instruct and enable men, by the knowledge of actions past, to bear themselves prudently in the present and providently towards the future".

  "History should be studied essential to individuals and society, and because it harbors beauty." However,history offers us only bases and cannot tell us everything and every answer to the problem we are facing today.  We can't follow suit of history totally without the consideration of current situation and condition. Otherwise it commit the mistake of dogmatism and metaphysics. History is our teacher, guide, and herald,  but the final judgement, depends on our own capability to grasp the changing rules and use history as a tool.
  For the analyses made above, I strongly commit that studying history is vital to everyone's development , and history itself has various functions. Without history, we would never know how the society originated, and developed. Without studying history, we would never know why things happening today, and what gonna happen in the future. All in all, haveing  a better comprehension of what happened in the past ,we can follow the experiences and patterns then make present decision and grasp the overall situation in the future.

首先，膜拜一下姐姐庞大的名言库。。赞啊赞啊～～
其次是建议：
首先，开头就放出诸如，waht is history或者what is the function of history稍显突兀，这些问题完全可以放在最后一段，作为论述后的升华部分来进行提出，
其次，是姐姐的第一段，论述深度稍显不够，你的开头论点指出，学习历史有助于帮助我们了解现在的社会和人们，但是意义又是什么呢？我们仅仅是为了了解才去研究历史吗？那么作用岂不是显得太过于平庸了，当然姐姐本段最后已经显现出要深入挖掘，说研究历史对于当下发展有利，但是最好把这个总结后放在第一句中，这样显得论证更有深度。
然后就没了。整体来说还是很不错的。加油啦～～
