Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

People in increasing number are concerned about the controversial issue whether daily homework can do well for the students. As far as I see, among the reasons is that teachers assign some homework for students can help the students to review the knowledge which they learned in the class. Besides, homework usually occupy many time which can reduce the probability of the juvenile crime. However, too much homework will also bring some negative effects.

First of all, the importance of homework of let the students to learn knowledge more solidly can never be ignored, because, with the aid of homework, students can hold the points which they received from the class more effective. As we know, students usually receive a large amount of new knowledge from the class, most of them can not been understand immediately. Therefore the homework can help the students efficiently to make sense all the knowledge they learned.

Equally meaningful is the point that, benefiting from the extra work on the homework, students can use their time more reasonable, and in the contract, the chance they contacting with the other negative factors of the society can be reduced. Envision that there is homework left, some students would spend their time on the computer or television,
some even begin to contact the dangers factors such as the drags, guns. The students who begin to get interest in those unsafe things above, the crime rate may increase rapidly. So, the homework is necessary not only for the students but also for their parents.
Despite the fact that homework can help both the students and parents a lot, I have to say that the amount of the homework should be limited because less leisure time can also do harm of the students. As the old saying goes: all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, leaving some free time for the students is also indispensable.

To sum up, although so many advantages of the homework, we should not exaggerate the merits of doing so. Proper measures must be taken to limit the amount of the homework, in that it can make a maximum positive effect for the students.
