8.31 独立写作+综合写作
1.独立写作

Parents are most concern about the development of their children, and they usually believe that they should make decision for children. However, I maintain that parents should take active part of children’s lives rather than directly make decision for them.

First and foremost, if parents continue make decision for children, children will loose their own mind and become more and more dependent to their parents, when they grow up, the situation will be serious, for instance, they may follow their parents ideas even in the case of finding a wife.

In addition, some children have their own minds about their future developments; in that case, parents should give some advices on their decision, correct their bad decision. However, all too often we have seen many parents tend to pursuit their cherished but failed dreams by forcing their children to develop in a prearranged direction. If children do not follow their instructions, they well turn out to be disappointment. Actually, children can make their own decision, even though something bad will happen, the result may not be so serious, and can teach them an important lesson that they will certainly remember in future, when they finally get mature.

Finally, the feeling of success by making correct decision can build children’s confidence, knowing that thy can do a work well and recognized by others is an important character-building experience. Learning to make decision is a critical part of their lives, they will become more dependent. Moreover, by making their own decisions will help them to shape what is important and what is not important, for example, by doing the right part-time job, they may learn more about how to cope with societal problem, how to deal with personal problem.

In conclusion, making decision by themselves, by offering children confidence and independence, plays an important role in children’s lives, and will be help them be a critical thinking individual.

2.TPO13
The lecture talks about the benefits that fossils collected by commercial collectors is outweigh the damage that to the fossils. The professor says that the theory stated in the reading passage is somewhat inaccurate.

Firstly, commercial fossil collectors may display their fossil to others, and many people can view them. Also many people and units such as school can purchase fossils, and they can be exposed to people. In contrast, the reading passage believes that public will have less chance to view these fossils. So the lecture is contradicts what the passage indicates

Secondly, scientists can access to most of the fossils because the discovery and finding the values of the fossils both need scientists’ instruction and identification, scientists need test its values, so they can hardly miss any fossil. This is another part where the lecture contradicts theory.

Finally, there are lots of fossils ever and never been discovered around world, the professor states that though maybe scientific data may decline, it is better to find and damage more fossils than not discovered them.

So, the contents in the reading passage are totally jeopardized by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topics made in the reading.
