Research assistantships available for doctoral students in Information Systems

University: Dakota State University
Location: Madison, South Dakota, USA

Research area: Information Assurance and Security (applicants with
background and interest in computer science and software engineering are
encouraged)

Pros: Stipend $31,000+/year, low living expenses

you need to send your application to the graduate school first. software security is the focused research area, and information assurance and security is a broader area.

Do not contact with individual faculty first. once you get admitted, interested faculty member (s) will contact you.

4# DSU123 楼主是那个学校的人吗。我问招生处，申奖的话是不是就不用财产证明，他说必须要，因为给的钱不能cover full the cost. 到底这个stipend是怎么回事啊。原文Yes, the Declaration of Finance is required for all international students. Assistantships help financially, but they will not cover the full cost of the program, so we still need the documentation that your educational expenses will be covered. 他还说这个你这个信息 I am sorry – I do not know where this originated, but it is not something from Dakota State University. just apply, you do not need to ask them. they do not know much about internation affair.

if 31,000+ plus tuition waive cannot cover, I do not know how much you need to cover.

你们学校没有deadline么？不是IS的么，为啥写的CS？没找到CS的PHD。。

to apply for F1, you need to have enough money to show you can cover you expense here.
with financial support, it should be enough to cover that.

I do not know why they ask for that, I believe you do not need extra financial support letter once you get the offer.
