题目：ISSUE208 - "The way people look, dress, and act reveals their attitudes and interests. You can tell much about a society's ideas and values by observing the appearance and behavior of its people."

The speaker asserts that what people’s look, dress and act reveal their attitudes and interests. I strongly agree with author's opinion and in my point of view, combine with outlook and dress, people's internal characteristic can tell much more about society's idea and value than only by observing the appearance and behavior of its people.

The first and foremost reason I support above statement is that with people's look, dress, and act reflect their attitudes and interests, we might find out what they like and what the dislike from their dress or act. Let us take a look at a specific example from our everyday life. If someone also dresses sportswear and basketball shoes, he or she may be a college gay who may be keen on outdoor sports such as play basketball and play soccer. Moreover, we might carefully conclude that he or she is easygoing with open mind because loss cloth reflects their inner idea. Furthermore, if we focus on a people who usually wear suit and tie, we may consider that he or she is a business man or work for government. Thus, we may carefully infer that what people's attitude and interests from their look, dress and act.

Furthermore, I agree with the speaker's opinion that we could conclude society's ideas and values by observing the appearance and behavior of its people. Here is a good example that can support my reason. As we all know, women in Arabic do not go out side unless wear their mask. It is undeniable fact that the women in Arabic is a high level group of the whole society and wearing a mask indicate that people shows the respect to women. And, Chinese people wear only 3 colors cloth (black, white and grey) in 1970's. From their way of dress we may infer that China was a conventional society in 1970's. But now, Chinese people wear a variety of colors and fashionable cloth, and it indicates that China is becoming tolerance and open.

However, drawing the conclusion that we can tell much about society's value only by observing people's appearance and behavior of its people is totally unreasonable. The idea and value of our society is based on people's faith and internal characteristics. To illustrate this point clearly, here is an example that is persuasive. Mark Zuckerberg, who is the CEO of Facebook, usually wears jean and T-shirt, and he did not finish his university courses. But we could not say that he is not of great value to out society. He uses his intelligent and creativity to build a virtual society and abridge the distance of communication. Thus, we should focus on people's internal characteristics rather than only care about outside behaviors.

To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, which sometimes correlate with each other to generate an integrate whole and thus become more convincing than any single one of them, we may be comfortable to say that without understand one's internal ideas, the conclusion that you can know about society's characteristics only by observing the appearance and behavior of its people is rough.
