Scandals are useful because they focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.

Scandals can focus our attention on problems but we should not always solve problems relying on scandals.
Of course, compared with the accomplishments endowed by the professional speakers and reformers, the progresses made by the aftereffects of scandals are often more significant and fast.. It just as(liken) a mirror reflecting many things to public. The speed it spread news so fast that the news can be known only for a moment because its influence in public is so significant, which other way of media can not reach. For example, the event of milk powder which is not so qualified that it threaten customers' health is known to us all in a short time, and the government pay attention to it and address it as fast as they can to calm the public. Furthermore, the scandals revealing that some professors copy academic papers to enhance their reputation is also give the professors a caution that they should not cheat all the time. All the example is used to point out that scandals is the monitor of us, it regulate our behaviors to some extent. We might be unscrupulous to do everything we want to do secretly without the control of scandals. Thus, with scandals, we attach importance on the news and restrict our bad behaviors.
However, scandals are not useful all the time. It may harmful to the society.
First, the new it reveals might be true. Just to meet the curiosity of the public so that they can bolster their sales and profits, some medium fabricate some news to attract people’s attention. These mediums' detective behaviors will inevitably bring about disorders to those who in charge in some areas. Besides this, we always be confused by the variety of news and failed to distinguish the truth and canard. So it is harmful to our life.
Next, scandals always exaggerate the flaws of celebrities. For example, an artist is accused of lacking grace in a party. But we should realize that celebrity is also as common a people as the individuals, they can not be perfect as the god. The small error should not be overemphasized. overstatements of the grave effects of scandals may shadow the contributions of the scandal makers unfairly. In addition, Such scandals like that also trouble the celebrity without any doubt.
Moreover, our society can not rely on scandals to resolve problems. Albeit scandals can force the government attach importance on the problems, we should not rely on it too much. Otherwise, the prestige of government can be impaired and the moral and regulation system may be out of function. Furthermore, our society may be in turbulence. Let us think, if scandals do not exist, our society is certainly out of order? In contrary, if we rely on scandals too much, the society can not be in a harmonious environment. Therefore, it may harmful to the society.
In conclusion, scandals may focus our eye on the problems in some case, but it is also harmful to society. If you agree with my points, now let’s have a critical thing mind about scandals.

LZ的基本语法错误还是很严重，希望写完能仔细检查一下。而且思路不是很清晰。
