Two graduate research assistantships are available immediately to PhD students in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, West Virginia University. The department offers two degrees at the PhD levels: Industrial Engineering, and Occupational Safety and Health Engineering. Requirements include an earned BS and MS degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health or a closely related field. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the abilities including conducting and designing experiments, performing statistical data analysis, and writing scientific journal manuscripts. Candidates with previous research experience and research publications are preferred. Admitted students will receive a full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend ($1600 - $1700).
