TPO 1

Nowadays, sports and social activities areplaying more significant roles in university education . Besides looking upreference books in library, taking courses to master professional knowledge,most of the students show great interests in other activities, such as, gettingrewards in football matches, dancing on the stage of university auditorium,working as a volunteer in AUTO Shanghai. Some people hold the opinion thatsocial and sports activities may distract students from their study. While,from my perspective, the university should offer equal financial support tosuch activities, which is as important as classes and libraries.
Undeniably, students are eager for abundantand colorful life in campus. Study may be the major task of universitystudents, but not the only one. Actually , students need to apply knowledge topractical usage after their graduation. When students enter the society , theyhave to overcome various difficulties, which are both realistic and cruel. Therefore,I strongly recommend that universities should offer students more opportunitiesto practice solving social problems by increasing financial support for socialactivities.
Additionally, it's a common sense that propersports activities would improve one's health quality. Students should squeezetime into sports, which can improve their immune system, protecting themselvesfrom sickness. Furthermore, sports competition promotes students' enthusiasmand perseverance, which are commendable virtues in daily life. Definitions of thesespirits will never appear in books. When students experience a wonderful sportsgames, the unforgettable memory might impact their future life. I had watched afantastic basketball match when I was a sophomore in ECUPL，I always remember that it is the unity ofmy classmates leads to the success in the competition. Yes, our class is thechampion. This memory made profound influence on me , through it , I understandthe substantial significance of group work, I miss the everlasting friendshipwith my classmates.
In summary, even study is the major elementin university life, there's necessities for universities to offer more financialsupport for social and sports activities，for such activities are playing such significant roles, both in university education and ourmemorable youth.
