The material progress and well-being of one country are necessarily connected to the material progress and well-being of all other countries.

Human civilization has reached a stage at which different nations should view themselves as neighbours of the same earth village. The development of one country in almost every aspect, such as the economy and science, is connected with the progress made by all the other countries.

In the economic realm, different countries of the world today are closely connected by the global market and the global financial system. The numerous international corporations and economic organizations work as a thread to knit different nations' economy to form an integral net. Situations may be a little different in various countries. The United States, for example, as one of the most developed countries, has many international companies whose business are mainly located abroad all over the world. The primary materials, the assembly line, the selling agents and the service provider of these companies mainly exist not in America, but in other districts abroad. However, things are quite different in China. As a developing country, and the largest potential market in the world, China attracts many investments from other countries and the international corporations. Although the concrete cases may be different, one fact is always the same: the economies of different countries are all connected to the global market and financial system, which is essential for their development.

In addition, the development of science and technology also requires the cooperation between different nations. With the accumulation of achievements made before in every aspect, science and technology has developed to a stage at which a single institution or company or even a nation cannot well accomplish a research task without cooperation from others. The human genome project serves as a perfect example. In the project, which was initiated by several companies, institution and companies from six different countries cooperated together and finally finished the great research ahead of time. Another example is the international space station, which has significant senses in the human exploring process of outer space. The construction and maintenance of this space station both requires huge funds and labors that a single country cannot afford. In these cases, we could realize that great progress in science and technology can hardly be achieved without the cooperation between different countries.

Last but not the least, the deterioration of the global environment should help us realize that people of different countries are actually in the same boat. The earth is the only planet that we human being could live on today, and the deterioration of the environment actually affects the living of all the people in different countries. The pollution, the trend of becoming warmer in global climate, the melt of the Antarctic iceberg and the consequently rising of the sea level, the decreasing resources such as petroleum and coal, and the continuous increasing population are not the problems of single country. Although situations may be various in different countries, the final result of neglect of any country would be mutual disaster of all: the destroy of the earth and the extinction of our human beings.

In sum, with all the aspects mentioned above, the material progress and well-being of one country, which requires a mutual and sound financial global system, a cooperative atmosphere in scientific and technological realm, and enough attentions from every country paid to environmental problems, is indeed connected to all the other countries all over the world.

读下来，好像没有怎么提到well-being of one country么？前面两点都是将material progress。
