As we acquire more knowledge, things do not become more comprehensible, but more complex and more mysterious.

It seems to be a heterodox that as we acquire more knowledge, things become more complex and more mysterious rather than more comprehensible at the first thought. But consideration into a deeper aspect will bring out some reasonable elements of the opinion.

It is true that with the development of science and technology, the total amount of human knowledge has increased a lot, which makes a great number of things that used to be mysterious enough to be comprehended by our forefathers have appeared much clearer to our modern people. As we acquire more knowledge, we get more information of the mechanics of the movement of natural things and ways of interplay of different objects. The developing experiences of sciences such like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology have showed the authenticity of the opinion very clearly and persuasively. For example, it has always been a mystery to human being why the sun rises from the east and sets in the west. In the old times, people did not have enough scientific knowledge to explain this natural phenomenon, so they had to make up different mythology stories to satisfy their strong curiosity. Now even a three-year old child knows that the reason is that the sun goes around the earth in a certain round orbit.

However, as we discover more about the cause of a phenomenon, questions at a deeper level often turn up which make us so confused and even at a loss. As Einstein said (and I paraphrase):" The amount of our knowledge is like a circle. As we get more knowledge, the perimeter of the circle is bigger, which means the unknown areas are increasing to us." The development of modern physics can be illustrated to support my point of view. In the latter half of the 19th century, physics has made such exciting success that people thought that the mansion of physics science has already been built up perfectly. But shortly after that, a number of new problems appeared and people were so frustrated by the complexity of them. X-rays, radioactivity, smaller and smaller basic elements for composing objects, the origin of the universe, and many other new discoveries seemed completely mysterious to comprehend to scientists. Now we have realized that the exploring of the nature will never come to an end. We have no other choice except going on researching industriously.

Furthermore, what the speaker says also applies to many social and humanity problems apart from scientific areas. Our knowledge of the development of the society and sorts of ethic problems have always been being enlarged and renewed. But until today, five thousands years after the birth of human civilization, people are still confused about many social phenomena. Consider, for example, the stunning disparity in the level of development between the north and the south of the earth. It seems so complex and difficult to understand why Africa, where the first human being emerged and ancient Egyptians created great civilization, has now become the most impoverished region of the world. There are also many other racial and ethical problems which remain to be explicated.

In sum, the range of our understanding of things does not change in the same direction with the amount of knowledge we acquired all the time. A lot more discoveries are waiting for us to make and we should keep the curiosity of a child and pure zeal as our ancestors' to explore more about the world and the nature. There is no limitation to people's knowledge.

It seems to be a heterodox that as we acquire more knowledge, things become more complex and more mysterious rather than more comprehensible at the first thought. But consideration into a deeper aspect will bring out some reasonable elements of the opinion.

It is true that with the development of science and technology, the total amount of human knowledge has increased a lot, which makes a great number of things that used to be mysterious enough to be comprehended by our forefathers(这句话有问题好像,感觉应该是that used to be too mysterious to be comprehended by our forefathers) have appeared much clearer to our modern people. As we acquire more knowledge, we get more information of the mechanics of the movement of natural things and ways of interplay of different objects. The developing experiences of sciences such like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology have showed the authenticity of the opinion very clearly and persuasively. However, as we discover more about the cause of a phenomenon, questions at a deeper level often turn up which make us so confused and even at a loss. As Einstein said (and I paraphrase):" The amount of our knowledge is like a circle. As we get more knowledge, the perimeter of the circle is bigger, which means the unknown areas are increasing to us."(好像不是Einstein说的吧,应该是Zeno of Elea,古希腊的) The development of modern physics can be illustrated to support my point of view. In the latter half of the 19th century, physics has made such exciting success that people thought that the mansion of physics science has already been built up perfectly. It is true that with the development of science and technology, the total amount of human knowledge has increased a lot, which makes a great number of things that used to be mysterious enough to be comprehended by our forefathers (too mysterious to comprehend for our forfathers, now) have appeared much clearer to our modern people. As we acquire more knowledge, we get more information of the mechanics of the movement of natural things and ways of interplay of different objects. The developing experiences of sciences such like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology have showed the authenticity of the opinion very clearly and persuasively.(这一段好像论证的是科学知识使现象得到解释,从而变得简单,这句话放这里感觉有点矛盾,或者说你的the opinion指代不明) For example, it has always been a mystery to human being why the sun rises from the east and sets in the west. In the old times, people did not have enough scientific knowledge to explain this natural phenomenon, so they had to make up different mythology stories to satisfy their strong curiosity. Now even a three-year old child knows that the reason is that the sun goes around the earth in a certain round orbit.(应该是因为地球的自转吧,况且是地球绕太阳转,是不是表述反了?)

However, as we discover more about the cause of a phenomenon, questions at a deeper level often turn up which make us so confused and even at a loss. As Einstein said (and I paraphrase):" The amount of our knowledge is like a circle. In sum, the range of our understanding of things does not change in the same direction with the amount of knowledge we acquired all the time.(这句话感觉懂,但又不太通顺,还是我语感有问题?) A lot more discoveries are waiting for us to make and we should keep the curiosity of a child and pure zeal as our ancestors' to explore more about the world and the nature. There is no limitation to people's knowledge.

(记得写上提纲)

It seems to be a heterodox that as we acquire more knowledge, things become more complex and more mysterious rather than more comprehensible at the first thought. But consideration into a deeper aspect will bring out some reasonable elements of the opinion.

It is true that with the development of science and technology, the total amount of human knowledge has increased a lot, which makes a great number of things that used to be mysterious enough to be comprehended by our forefathers have appeared much clearer to our modern people. As we acquire more knowledge, we get more information of the mechanics of the movement of natural things and ways of interplay of different objects. Now even a three-year old child knows that the reason is that the sun goes around the earth in a certain round orbit.(例子写得有点罗嗦)

Furthermore, what the speaker says also applies to many social and humanity problems apart from scientific areas. Our knowledge of the development of the society and sorts of ethic problems have always been being enlarged (头有点晕了)and renewed. (感觉例子太多而忽略了说理,几乎没怎么说明自己的观点)

自己的观点应该在but后面表明

It is true that with the development of science and technology, the total amount of human knowledge has increased a lot, which makes a great number of things that used to be mysterious enough to be comprehended by our forefathers have appeared much clearer to our(our可以去掉) modern people. As we acquire more knowledge, we get more information of the mechanics(mechanisms) of the movement of natural things and ways of interplay of different objects. The developing experiences of sciences such like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology have showed the authenticity of the opinion very clearly and persuasively. For example, it has always been a mystery to human being why the sun rises from the east and sets in the west. In the old times, people did not have enough scientific knowledge to explain this natural phenomenon, so they had to make up different mythology(mythologic) stories to satisfy their strong curiosity. Now even a three-year old child knows that the reason is that the sun goes around the earth in a certain round orbit.
of...of....用的好多,表述方式可以多样一些。

However, as we discover more about the cause(origin可能更合适一些) of a phenomenon, questions at a deeper level often turn up which make us so confused and even at a loss. 转折句很好 As Einstein said (and I paraphrase):" The amount of our knowledge is like a circle. 这段只提到了贫富地区差距问题依旧悬而未决,没有一个comprehensive和complex的对比

总的来说,第三段感觉不错,如果关于人文科学的那一段也写成这样就好了。语言上感觉有些生涩,就是形容词用的太多了,可以再精炼一点的~嘿嘿,+u
