142 "The well-being of a society is enhanced when many of its people question authority."

The speaker claims that the sciety will be better off when many people challenge the authority.While I contend that certain question of authority will have serious effect on sciety development and security,I agree with the author's claim that society's well-being depends on the challenge to authority,and when is comes to science and technology,sucessful challenge of authority will benefit the society in many aspest of human life condition.

Even the most excellent scientist,From Galileo to Einstein,always makes big discoveries with a willing heart to think critically about the classic model or formula prevailing in their times. As they have proven their hypothesis and ideas,new fields of science and technology will born from the once so called "heterodoxy" which could probably be frowned on by the church of their century.In 1507,Leonardo makes history's first decription of arteriosclerosis by comparing the circulatory system of edlerly man's with that of a child's.Under challenging condition,Leonardo invent an entirely new way of seeing.Later his cross section and exploded diagram would profoundly influence the modern methods of visualizing anatomy and machinery.

A wiiling heart to explore the potential flaw of the existence in authority,however,is not the only factor contribute to successful challenge over established rule and pricinple.To fulfill whatever might lead to new perception and concept of various field of soceity's aspects like--science,art,literature,politics--these opinion and ideas must come to carry on in thier experiment which require carefully obeservation and judgement.This is what we might call it "empiricism",different from virtual theory that all of its basis is underlying a assumption of certain priciple and stipulation,and the implement of these proven ideas against the authority eventually beneifit our's society as a whole.Just as the president of computer science department at my uiversity once said:"Everyone is inspired by the urgence of doing,kowning is not enough,we must act on it,being willing is not enough,we must do it."That's illustrate the point that only through actual action againgst authority can the public accept and be benefit from the mavericks who possess excellent perspicacity on extant regulation and rules.

Admittedly,when such actions come to be fallacious after practicing in society,immense damage will cause.CFCs,along with ohter chlorine- and bromine-containing compound,have been implicated in the accelerated depletion of ozne in the Earth's stratosphere.CFCs were developed in the early 1930s and are used in the variety of industrial,commercial,household application.As a result,large emittion of CFAs and bromine-containing compound serious destroy the zone layer which protect our life from the sun's biologically harmful ultraviolet radiation.It is through the question of human-made chemical in various societal aspect of life,we can find the scientific evidence that these chemmical are responsible for the creation of Ozone pole,that is,in other word,through question of authority.

This goal will never be attained,because one must adopt is as a philosophy of life.Every day one must remember that we need to question things in life to grow and develop.It is not enough to read and learn,but we have to find the answers behind the question for ourselves.
