以下是我参加2007年7月10—21日的新东方上海雅思强化班时的部分笔记整理出来的，刚上完不久，并没有完全整理。我的写作老师是小新，讲的实在太棒啦！在此对小新老师表示感谢！
希望对大家有帮助。

雅思考试作文TASK 2 十大类（新东方俗称十个球）

TEN BROAD TOPICS

1、  career development
2、  infrastructure
3、  abstract
4、  media
5、  science & technology
6、  Maslow’s theory——题目中含有“should (government) support/subsidize/give grants to ____？”或者“is it necessary to support/subsidize/give grants to ____？”
7、  Hobby
8、  Ethic——题目中含有“should”
9、  Globalization
10、Compare & contrast

备注：4和7已经不考了，可以删除了。
8和10无法预测具体的题目

7月重点是：5号球和6号球
8月重点是：1号秋和2号球

具体如下：

1号球包含的题目有：
1）  specific education——the functions of teacher
2）  knowledge VS. experience
3）  “away” “abroad” and “leave”

2号球包含的题目最多大致分为两类：
1）solid infrastructure (natural or social issue)
2）soft infrastructure (social evil)

第1）类中有：
Traffic
E.P. (environmental protection)
City development
Lawn establishment
Abolishing the old but historical architecture
Water resource
Family planning (birth control)
Gap between the poor and rich (countries)
Green house effect

第2）类中有：
Women crimes
Juvenile delinquency
Littering
Noise
Theft
Killing or eating wild animals
Physical punishment to children
Watching violent films for children
Public insecurity
Plagiarism
Selfishness or greed among people
Policeman carrying the gun
Physical punishment

3号球包含的题目有:
1)    stress
2)    happiness
3)    fashion
4)    character
5)    attitude
6)    shopping
7)    selfishness
8)    advertising
9)    equal treatment of salary

5号球包含的题目有：
1）intelligent robot
2）translation software
3）industrial automation
4）motorized flight
5）computerized library
6）processed food
7）SOHO working
8）Computer—based learning
9）Epidemics

6号球包含的题目有：
1)    space technology
2)    weapon
3)    musician or artist
4)    sports professional
5)    artistic projects
6)    costume and beauty salon
7)    theatre, gym, medical center and education (4选2个)

9号球只有一个题目：
Globalization

注意：红色的表示重点准备的基本题目
         蓝色的表示考试当月需要再额外准备的题目

   其实大家不需要每一个题目都去准备，每个大类准备一个套路就好了，这样可以通用所有该类的具体题目，即使是没有出现过的，只要是一类的都大同小异。

         当然啦，大家参考一下，我只是把听课的内容发上来而已，不算预测哦，呵呵。
         预测还是参看专门的帖子吧。

      不过每个类型还是有共通之处的，所以列出的题目是基本的题目，从这些可以拓展从而搞定所有的同类型话题的具体题目。当月考多准备一下也是为了练笔，算抽样好了，不用只关注题目是什么，要搞明白这类题目怎么下笔，这样即使有新题目也能立刻知道是属于哪一类，从而从容应对。
