I once was a private tutor of a junior student. During guiding time I found that when I asked her why things happened like this , she always said:” My teacher told me...”. From the experience, even a little special, I can tell that our society , at least the field of education, has pay little attention to how to reason and how to understand or learn something, especially something new. On one hand, people get used to ready- food and tired to cook by themselves, on the other, governments, schools and other institutions are happy to take responsibilities to making rules and forming foundations to unify the citizens or students together.

There is no doubt that standardization is significant in organizing a society, it is necessary to build up acceptable value to the whole people. Nevertheless, unification cannot provide creativity to motivate our society to progress forward. Dating back to the period After world War II when almost all East European countries were controlled by Soviet , none of them make progress, people hungered and died, Yet Yugoslavian declared they were independent from the Soviet Union and build up their home on their own hands. On doing this , Yugoslavian resumed from the hard time with the guidance of Marshal Tito. Their achievement relied on the intellect of the whole society, on their exploring spirit and treasure on their brain resources, and that is the reason why they make their country back to life.

Thus here comes the next question, how to make people full of innovative spirit so that they would value their intellect? Here comes the saying that give someone the way of fishing instead of give him fish. Again in the area of education, the authority should make more effort to change the situation that students from secondary schools to universities all depend on teachers or advisors to tell them how to solve problems other than try to find answers on their own. For example, provide more benefits and awards to those who play a crucial role in his or her community, or those who gain great honor to his school or universities. In a word, to encourage students in broader ways. As the individuals, people should learn more by thinking logically when faced by problems, and learn to explore rather than to follow.

In sum, It is methodology that offers us the principle and a set of working method on doing things. So no matter the authorities or individuals need self-communion which might lead us to a new level of thinking and doing with reasoning and cognitive skills.

博洛尼亚大学量化金融VS计量经济学

如题，考虑费用问题，在这两个offer当中选。海外就业导向，希望毕业后3-5年内能留在欧洲工作。更喜欢自己以后能独立工作（不是指单干，指工作内容可以更多自己琢磨完成，不用怎么跟人拉通合作的），期望好就业，薪酬待遇高。看官网介绍感觉计量（LMEC2）出路更好，但是暂时没有读博打算，也有点担心学不来难毕业

莱顿大学考古vs罗马一大考古

在莱顿大学研究型硕士（两年）和罗马一大地中海考古硕士（两年）之间纠结。莱顿大学优点：1.研究型考古硕士可能认可度更高？读博更容易。2.人数似乎更少，教授一对一指导，质量更高（已经选定导师）。3.荷兰整体英文水平更高，不会说荷兰语在荷兰基本生活问题不会很大。缺点：1.荷兰的气候和食物和意大利相比都差很多。2.一年两万欧的学费（意大利免学费），算起来两年紧紧张张要50W。罗马一大优点：1.免学费，成本低，两年30w很充裕，还能旅游。2.天气好，吃的也不错。3.罗马城市的历史感更强，古迹丰富。4.可以实习？能赚点外快？缺点：1.意大利整体英文水平不如荷兰（在官网上已经深刻感受到，感觉不会意大利语真的很不方便！）2.教学质量是否也与莱顿的研究型硕士项目有所差距？公立大校，就读体验不知道如何？至今没有看到任何关于考古系的faculty的信息.....用博是否认可度较低？（有点偏向申请美国的博士）3.现在要准备一堆材料让人头大.....例如价值声明的一堆东西4.该项目似乎偏向于史前考古，但我更倾向于历史时期，但又看官网设置的课程也有历史时期的内容？（再次吐槽官网的页面真的很难找）

麦马st还是西大ece software

麦马st预计16个月左右 Western ece一年项目二者安省pnp加分一致都有三年工签目标找工两者都有coop机会麦马可能理工科强一点不过西大专业title会不会好一点综合专业时长 coop难易程度等因素求建议
