作文
I have always found that when mention the hard times in the past, most people hold the view of cherishing them instead of saying badly about that. It implies a phenomenon that most experience, which we thought to be difficult at the time, might be pretty useful later in our lives, and then become valuable lessons in the future.
First of all, those rough times can test the willpower of people. Nowadays, the people who can knock the door of success, are no longer those who have smart heads. They are also called for the characteristic of strong-minded. On the way to success, everyone has to face a great number of difficulties, particularly in the modern times now. On the contrary, those who are afraid of hard experience are always eliminated in this terribly competitive world. So one must have the charm to keep his/her idea and do not fear of difficulties and failures. Here are plenty of examples who have the strong willpower and achieve success finally. Ma Yun, the CEO of the biggest B2B company Alibaba had failed 3 times during his career, but he never gave up. At the start of this company, he didn’t have enough capital, labor and experience. He even only had a small department room as the work office for all his 18 workers. But it is because his insight and strong will that made his company successful finally.
Furthermore. people gain some valuable experiences and knowledge from the difficult times. It just like only those who once fell ill can know better about the patients, and cherish the lives more from then on. Take the generation of our parents for instance. Most of them keep austere lives. One of the reasons is that they have experienced the rough time during 1960s, during which a great natural catastrophe happened. They could hardly have enough food or water then. So they keep such kind of life style.
Meanwhile, different people have different measurement of the hard times. So not all terrible experiences are meaningful for one’s development. For example, a criminal who is pity for his/her guilty may thought of the past as rough time. The regret might be useful. But the bad experience does have no good for his/her development.
To sum up, most of those difficult experiences can really teach people a lot. So we should not miss every chance to gain knowledge from them no matter how terrible memories they might be.
