题目：ISSUE 112 - "Some educational systems emphasize the development of students' capacity for reasoning and logical thinking, but students would benefit more from an education that also taught them to explore their own emotions."

   推理能力是我们生存的工具也是我们促使我们理性思维的形成
  情感教育给予我们一个更和谐的世界

Before the age of our grandparents it occurs, during the period of our parents it still going ahead, till now it never stops; our civilization is progressing and the tool of technology is playing a more and more important role. Also we may find what the civilization bring us is not only the material comforts, but also a society full of love.  To a student, the best educational system should emphasize the capacity for both reasoning or logical thinking and controlling emotion.

To begin with, it is just reasoning and logical thinking that help a student master necessary knowledge to survive and form the rational thought. An emphasize on such abilities is understandable for they serve as a tool only by which can we solve the problems encounter in our work. Only untill we understand the mathematical statistics can we work out how many people are unemployed, only until we understand the computer science logic can we correct computer programmes, and only until we understand the rule of physics classical mechanics can we calculate the velocity of certain things. During the process of working out practical problems in the routin work day, we will find the process are full of reasoning and logically thinking to help us find out, calculate, decide the results or the orientation. In another respect, these abilities lend us a hand to form the rational thought which can give us a better understanding of the relation between the phenomenon and essence. These abilities help us to construct a system of abstraction, find out the common rules behind data and models got from nature.

However, education of emotions should not be neglect for it contribute us a harmonious society. On one hand, an educational system of emotions can promote the quality of one’s study. What we students experience is a competitive societal environment, as we are receiving education, we also receive pressure from the parents, job market, and the confusion of future. hundreds of students can not afford the pressure and choose to suicide leaving us sadness and our country a great loss . However, if we turn to logic to find the way to solve the social problem, we will find no answer. It is something refer to emotion, the education on this will tell us how to better control our emotions and help to solve the questions such as how to maintain the pressure in a proper level, how to transfer the pressure to the motivation, how to balance the carving and our intellectual quality. On the other hand, education of emotions is to afford students cultural perspectives and a capacity of understanding opposing viewpoints, provide the insight and perspective regarding one’s place in society and in the physical and metaphysical worlds, provides an aesthetic appreciation of the world around us. All of which are unsubstitute for a society.

In view of the importance of both reasoning or logic thinking and the exploration of emotion for a student, finding a balance between intelligence and emotion will be important. We should not give a too much emphasize on one side: the capacity for reasoning or logical thinking help a student survive, and lead an easier life, while a education to explore one’s emotion help a student enjoy the life and love it. Without either one, we will lose the meaning of life, and with both ,we will embrace an active world.
