如果有申请rescore的朋友可以一起做。听到自己3.5的作文成绩，不太愿意相信，决定花一点钱去申请rescore。给ETS写了封信，回信如下：

Regarding your inquiry:

Test takers may request a review of their Analytical Writing section of
the GRE General Test up to six months after the test date. The fee is
$55. Submit your request and fee to the following address or fax number
(see below). Include your full name, date of birth, test date,
registration number, address, and phone number. If the score review process
results in a higher or lower score, the new score will be reported.

Princeton, NJ  08541-6000

Fax: 1-610-290-8975 (American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, or
VISA)

几个要点：

1，似乎只能发传真和邮寄，貌似EMAIL不行。
2，the new score will be reported。应该是说所有送分的学校都会重送的
3，要55美元。吃人不吐骨头。
4，要full name, date of birth, test date,registration number, address, and phone number。还有信用卡（看那个信用卡，啥都收，没准下次连UniPay都收了。真是收钱不要命）

重判GRE中的写作成绩
1.    重判写作成绩（rescoring）的有效期是参加完作文机考后的六个月，过了六个
月以后就不能再申请。
2.    rescore AWR需要55$美元，ETS接受的支付方式有很多，有信用卡、支票汇票等
，我们这里主要介绍汇票支付。目前中国银行代办的ETS专项业务里面还没有重判作文这
项，所以按照一般汇票办理。到中国银行的因公因私批汇窗口，说明事由，交身份证及复
印件。如果没有现成的美元，需要在银行兑换，填写因私购汇单换取美元。然后填写汇票
，收款人姓名：GRE-ETS，收款人地址：P.O. BOX 6000, Princeton, NJ08541-6000,
USA，需要收取手续费70RMB。
3.    准备申请材料，包括full name,/current address/date of birth/phone
number/registration number/ test name（GRE general test）/test date/ the
name and location of test center。
4.    将申请材料、银行出据的汇票一起寄给ETS，地址同上（GRE-ETS P.O. BOX
6000, Princeton, NJ08541-6000, USA）建议采用特快专递，花费186元
5.    等候ETS的消息，会以信件通知，大约需要4-6个星期。

ETS回信了

昨天把查询作文重判的信件发了过去。ETS回信了，现在速度越来越快了。就一个工作日。呵呵

Regarding your inquiry:

Our records indicate that your GRE rescore request has not been
processed. Rescore requests are processed approximately three weeks after
receipt at ETS. Because of the high volume of correspondence ETS receives
on a daily basis, it is not possible to locate a specific request prior
to processing.

If you mailed your request, please allow three weeks plus sufficient
mailing time from the date you sent your request to receive a response.

Thank you for your inquiry. We appreciate the opportunity to assist
you.

要点如下：
1、现在重判还没开始，当然没有，昨天才传真的
2、重判从收到回执的三周开始
3、如果重判没有开始，那么是查询不到。
4、请三周后查询

记得以前一个帖子说一周就查到了。我这里说要3周。太可怕。决定一周后再发一封，挣钱也不着急！真是的！

PS，突然觉得，如果你送分学校已经填了很多，送出去以后，ETS很可能分数不变，因为它如果都要寄的话，他们的成本就上升很多了。个人感觉

11月29日传真
12月14日发现额度减少，但是没有显示55美金扣款。发信询问
12月15日收到银行通知，55美金扣款。
12月16日显示扣款为ETS，hand score.
同时发现无法送分。（同申RESCORE的同志注意一下）
12月17日收到ETS的邮件，表示正在重判中。尚无结果。

如果改判成功，就来整理一下！
