12.12日作业：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People will spend less time in cooking or preparing food in twenty years than nowadays. （07.11.24）用时1h

Food preparing is a tedious and time-consuming task, especially hated by solitary man. Even the provident housewives will spend hours to finish it. Take the famous dish—Kung Pao chicken for example. To accomplish this work, lot of things has to do: groceries such as Chicken, pepper, peanut, fat and other ingredient say sugar, MSG, salt have to be bought in local market, then slice the meat, shuck the peanut, wash the pepper and cook them with ingredient step by step. After finish eating and cleaning up, one will be exhausted，and with no time and energy to enjoy the company with their family. Human's tolerance is limited, especially in the rush of modern life, such a mass would easily drive people crazy. Thus I believe the pressing need of changing current situation will generate a strong impulse, which will make the revolution of cooking inevitable in 20 years.

First of all, the tertiary industry such as physical distribution and food processing will do us a favor. In 20 years, the service industry will reach anther lever of flushing. People don't have to get up early to buy groceries in the local market or wait in a long queue to settle account in the supermarket. Only making a telephone call will obtain all the meat and vegetable you require, which are already clean and neat. Shopping in that time is just a way to relax or show off.

Secondly, the technology productions such as computer and internet will also help. In 20 years, automatic and semiautomatic device might become a n integral part of people's life. The technology progress will fix much annoyance that cause stress to their owners, not to mention such a trivial task matter say cooking. Maybe some lines of program typing to the computer will make all things done. With the kitchenware such as oven or pan linking to the computer and internet, you could even finish the task that once seems horrible in a minute.

Finally, the best way to save trouble is to grab a quick bite to eat at the restaurant. However, people today will think about it before making the decision because of the exorbitant price. Being luxury once or twice a month is acceptable, but too frequent will make their purse ache. As the development of transportation and food processing technology in twenty years, the restaurant could cut the cost of buying food and employing staff to the bone, eating organic food in the restaurant everyday is no longer myth.

In sum, since the cry for reform has gone up again and again, the bright future of staff won't be a day dream. With the help of the progress of technology and society, food preparing is just that simple and quick.

字数很多值得表扬.有几个句子理解起来要用点力气,反复读几次才明白,可能是本人水平有限吧. 有2个地方都用了缩写,我觉得考试时候尽量正式些. 改的不好请原谅.
