We should circumspect on opening a global university
Does it necessary to develop a global university to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems? The speaker asserts that it is necessary to so. While i agree that we facing many persistent social problems, today, i don't think it is necessary to do so. And my reasons are as follow.

Admittedly, we facing many persistent social problems, today, and that needs global cooperate to solve. For instance, effort to disarm the weapon of mass destruction, to reduce the emissions which cause the pollution of air and water, to control the diseases before they become world epidemics, and to control the use of the finite of natural resources, Consider, such issues, all nation should cooperate to solve these problem. And open a global university will know each other better, and it is easier to come to an agreement on the steps to solve the persistent social problems. However, in any other issues the global university can't solve, even in these issues involves above.

Different countries have different persistent social problems. In some countries, they facing the decline of population, and they have the poly on childbirth encourage, but in any other countries, they have social problems such as the depression of unemployment for the countries have more population than they can accept, and they control even disagree with giving much birth. In this situation, developing the global university can't solve the problem. This is one specific example, and there are many other familiar instances, that can't solve by open a global university. On this point of view, it isn't necessary to support the development of a global university, even to all nations to do so.

On the other hand, there are many doubts about on whether it is the best way to solve the persistent social problems by developing the global university.All of us know that solve the social problems is depends on the mutual understanding, not only on the knowledge or individual profits. As we can't solve the social problems by existing system of education, it is also an irrational determination to develop a global university and think that this way can solve it. To solve the social problems, we can educate the youth that they should be responsible to themselves and their generation, and we also instill the moral and ethical standards in them. Then they will be more apathy and more reasoning, and they may care others and the environment. In this way, the citizens will respect each other and the world will be more harmony. And at that time, the social problems may be less difficult to solve, even have been solved.

To sum up, the speaker drew a groundless assertion about how to solve the persistent social problems. This is a complex issue connecting moral duty, ethical and philosophy, therefore, it is hasty to give an easy or certain conclusion. In the final analysis, i still think that we should circumspect on the issue when we support the development of the global university.

Life is all about choices.
