Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People can learn more from watching television than reading books. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

Nowadays,watching television and reading books are the significant resources for us to learn everything in the world.we can konw what had happened or what was happening that is surrounding us.However,I confirmed that people can learn more from reading books than watching television.

Firstly, all kinds of portable books are being sold in bookstores.we can hold several books only in our bags no matter where we are going . We read fictions in the subway or on the bus,enjoy caricatures in the noisy resterants,learn educational books in the classroom or the library and not have to go back home then turn on the TV .As a result, we can enrich our knowledge and imaginary through the books in anytime and anywhere.

Another essential reason is that television programs always have annoying advertises,it really disturb us and waste our time for learning.But when we are reading,we are wandering in our own world and nothing could trouble us.When we get a book,it guides us to the moon,the forest,the sea and everywhere we want to see.Also the papers in current times are no longer exorbitant,it is much cheaper than the expense of the electricity ,television and the purchase of the program list.To our teenagers,watching television is more harmful to our eyes.

Finally,in my opinion, books is the origin of the knowledge and they can led us to another beautiful world.In a short ,we can have a more comfortable and healthier environment to learn more through reading books.
