【Dark_Tournament TOEFL-ibt作文小组第19次作业】

正文：

To many people, people are expecting teacher educate their students to gain more specific knowledge more than self-confidence. However, in my opinion, self-confidence is much more essential for a educator to help students to possess self-confidence than to just teach them some specific knowledge. The reason is that any specific knowledge can merely assist a person in limited area and period to some extent, while self confidence are help him/her for a lifelong time everywhere.

No matter how well a person learn specific knowledge, he is supposed to put it in practice well without self-confidence. This is easy to understand. For instance, a pupil who does well in mathematics now set out to physics study. Though, his maths talents might be helpful for his study in some aspects, he could still be so anxious when he firstly gets in touch with some brand new knowledge that he is very likely to fail to conquer some tiny difficulties just because of his lack of confidence that he is able to master it.

Additionally, any specific knowledge may be merely useful in one or two exact fields. When a student leaves school or moves to concentrate on another subject, the previously-learned acknowledge probably tends to be more or less the rubbish. In contrast, self- confidence is playing a primarily vital role in everyone, everywhere. A student who wants to be navy soldier at eleven changes his destination to be a sparkle economist. In that case, there is almost no a single kind of knowledge he get taught about navy could help him to be competent in economic field.

Finally, self-confidence provide a student with something inside like some credential, that allows someone getting more powerful and ambitious. Such enables a student to learn more specific skills well, to struggle for more unknown goals, to be brave to pursuit more exciting experiences, and to have more faith when encounters with hardship.

In consequence, it is deniable that to help students gain self-confidence stands much more important rather than to just teach them specific knowledge for a teacher.
