TOPIC: ISSUE25 - "Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction-in other words, to make things as simple as possible."

It seems necessary that people tend to make things bigger and more complex with advancing of the society. However, this idea for dealing with things often causes new problems, which call for us to think about matters froma more simple and clear perspective.

From a certain point of view, thinking in a more complex way means our minds become more comprehensive and profound. This is very important for people to perform better in dealing with problems and adapting to the circumstance they live in. As in technology, new discoveries are made and enduring flaws are corrected along with the deeper and more comprehensive researches. Specifically, there were many people died because of infections after operations since doctors at that time did not even realize the existence of microbes. As the exploration became more profound and complicated, experts found the reason causing infecting so that now this problem can deal with easily. On the other hand, as in the way we deal with matter, thinking in a complex and profound way which indicates that we have stronger abilities to create a sound circumstance of interpersonal relationships around. One possessing a comprehensive mind may think about a problem in more respects by which they are more likely to make right choices.

Unfortunately, this style of minds, which is appreciated by us to be even the best way to deal with matters, causes more problems in modern society and often leaves us in difficult positions. Just like that it is hard to clarify the frame of boundaries of a big tree with mass leaves, this mode of thinking in a bigger and more complex way may produce many additional views, the lots of comprehensive thoughts seem to be relevant to a goal but cover the nature of it, to block the way to success. Specifically, many big companies trust an idea in management called" Shorter, quicker and more level", which means a company should reduce the steps in connections between leaders and fundamental employees. By putting this idea into practice, the orders from the manager can reach to worker as quick as possible and suggestions coming form worker can be heard by leader more quickly and accurately. This can speed up the rate of working . This idea in managment indicates that simplifying the steps and thinking when being faced with problems may be just a best method than complication.

Moreover, as technology becomes more developed and complex, humans' life seems to be more convenient. We can communicate with the people who we have never met before over an ocean, one can send letter on the internet instead of going a long way to post it. Nonetheless, the complicated minds make people distrust each other. As a result, in stead of acquiring happiness, we become lonelier then before through the complex technologically communicational methods. Maybe only if one just goes our the door with simply talking with others face to face and regards people as kind and sincere at the same time, can we deal with the loneness.

In conclusion, as humans make thing bigger and complex, though it is the trend of social development, in many cases, one should change his/herself to think in simple way because simplicity can recover the nature of things.
