个人觉得没关系.我问过一个学校国际招生负责人，因为在国内见过,所以比较熟,有些问题就可以不必拐弯直接问.他回答如下:

If you or your parents are not able to indicate and document the availability of sufficient money to cover the full cost of tuition and fees, your application for admission will still be considered. Regardless of the amounts that are written on the financial statement and verified with the bank documents, you will be considered for all of the assistantships and scholarships offered by XXX University to graduate students at the same time that you will be considered for admission to graduate study.
