1. 的确是they指代不明..可以指American films, European imports或者both.1 ^- c+ V& Q1 w7 U z& H$ M
2. 可能是especially前后结构要平行吧..前面是the experiences of 后面就要用the struggles of.." C- D7 N9 C s2 t
3. 这个水平有限..我就扯一下吧.. 应该还是平行结构的问题...as large as 的前面是the NY City borough of Queens ，所以也要接地点名词，combined只是后置定语而已(吧?) 0 n( a. P# a, }7 L# y 7 b& d5 d: {3 u$ N* v以上仅个人见解，非专业解答。如有错误...不要打脸 - -.
